The location only one subway station away from Manhattan was excellent. Also there were three stations near by with different lines. The room was quite spacious. Our problem, however, was a smell from the air conditioner. The staff tried to fix it, but it helped only a little while and then it started again. As we had already changed our... More

we reserved a room with three others friends. We had a double room with two bed. no placet to put our luggage ! the bathroom was disgusting.. too many hairs everywhere. The air conditioning did not work... in the middle of summer, it is not acceptable. The floor was dirty, beasts in the bed. We decided to cancelled our 3... More

Its fairly close to the subway (much better to catch it in long island before it gets full in Manhattan) and the rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was good especially considering it's free but there weren't a lot of seats so we just brought it to our room. Good hotel overall :)

First check the photos and that basically explains everything. We've reported the rip curtain just to make sure we don't get accused of doing it. Good thing we only stayed 2 nights. This place was gross and dirty. The eating area is basically located in the lobby and tables are almost in front of the lobby doors. Never again!!!! Moved... More

Room was fairly good sized and had a short walk to the subway. I had difficulty with my key, it quit working TWICE, but I went to the front desk and they replaced it. Also, they aren't too good about stocking the soda machine. I made them aware that there wasn't any diet soda or water and they never did... More

i stayed there for 12 nights as it was close to the city. stains on the floor of the bathroom. bad patch up jobs. the door had to be closed at force. you could hear everyone coming and going on the floor. also the windows were dirty and didn't really open. However the staff at the front desk was helpful... More

The shower had mold growing on it and it looked like someone had tried to paint over it. There was a bar of soap in the shower that had been left by the last person who stayed in that room so obviously the room wasn't cleaned properly. There was poop stains on the floor which was a little disturbing until... More

The hotel is a short walk from the Subway and just a few stops away from Central Park and Times Sq. So not much to complain about there. The staff is helpful and kind. You get what you pay for, and for the price it's a decent hotel. The breakfast is okay, but there is not much space to sit... More

I stayed the entire week with my colleage. The first two nights were awful. If you notice lots of garbage bags on the street that means Garbage pickup will be around 2-3am the next morning and be prepared to be waken as they are loud! Second night the hotel let some very noisy guests on our floor and they woke... More

This is my the fourth time I've stayed in the Ramada hotel in Long Island City. I love New York but really enjoy staying outside of the busy city and the cheaper accommodation is a big bonus too. I usually find a deal online for around £50-60 per night. On this occasion I stayed 4 nights. It's an easy and... More
