There are lots of nice new hotels in Long Island City but this one is a bit more expensive and quite a lot nicer than the others. Check-in was exceptionally friendly. Rooms are bigger, lighter and better equipped than the nearby Verve. The full service restaurant is good and very welcome, as the immediate neighborhood is otherwise lacking in nice... More

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for 7 nights last week. We got it as a special deal on Expedia and this brand new 3 star hotel turned out to be excellent value for money. Since we had only booked a standard room we did not get a great view, but since we were only there to sleep,... More

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights, brand new hotel, rooms are small but really comfortable and clean, bed was spotless. Restaurant closes at 10pm. They have only a few parking spots, we could have parked on the street for free but we didn't want to risk it, since the area is kind of developing. It looks a little ugly... More

The hotel utilizes a key card system for its' guestroom safety. The system allows for a reading of all entries to the guest room. The lock was audited and it was verified that only the guest key was used for entry after the Housekeeping Department cleaned the room. The Engineering Department checked the TV and found nothing to be wrong.... More

This is a newly constructed Holiday Inn, which used the new design and services that all Holiday Inns will eventually have. The best things the hotel has going for it are the Manhattan views and the proximity to Manhattan. I would recommend this hotel to someone that wanted to be very close to Manhattan, but not pay Manhattanprices. The train... More

This was my second time in NYC and decided to try an area outside of Manhattan. Long Island City was recommended by a friend so when I found this hotel and the great price we decided to give it a try. I agree with the other reviews about the surrounding area. I felt safe during the day but coming off... More

I had a great time at this Holiday Inn Hotel. I've been to NYC many times before and usually the places I've stayed in Manhattan had small rooms with no natural air or light. I heard about this hotel from a friend and that it was spacious and had outdoor light and space. Boy, did this hotel meet my needs!... More

This has got to be the worst hotel ever. My husband and I arrived with a reservation number on the evening of our stay and were told that we were suppose to arrive 4 days early and that they had no room for us. We then had to forward the confirmation email to the MANAGER, Yan Chung, who was OFF... More

The reservation in question was changed by the central reservation system. That does not make it right, however, it was not due to an error by the hotel staff. Upon arrival, the guest's reservation was not in our system. The city was sold out and rooms were hard to come by due to the U.N. Conference in Manhattan. We did... More

AS a U. K. traveller with my wife we think its great value. Easy to Mahattan, 5 stops on subway 100 yards from hotel. For dining at night no problem, out of hotel turn right 3 blocks turn right to find a variety of eating houses eat in or take out . Try Piratas Lounge don't be put off by... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days on our first trip to NYC. We were nervous about the location from other reviews, but it wasn't bad at all! It was super convenient being 2 blocks from the Subway! Staff was great, view of Manhattan was fabulous, bed was comfy and nice bathroom! Small but what can you expect... More
