We stayed here for 4 nights and it was exactly what we needed. The room(suite) 416 was HUGE. Everything was clean and generally comfortable. Bed was a bit firm but I was satisfied with the location and the price. So convenient to Manahattan. We didn't try the breakfast but I didn't book this place for it's food.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. To be fair, I've also stayed at the Fairfield Suites next door, as well as the Holiday Inn just a half a block away. I usually stay in the area for business, but have stayed here for personal travel as well. If you are comfortable with the subway system (if you've never been,... More

I stayed here for three nights with my partner. Whilst I am sure this is a good deal by Manhattan standards, the hotel was disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we were given a dark, depressing room on the ground floor. There was a promise that, should a room become free we could be moved but this... More

The pluses first. The room was HUGE by NYC standards and well appointed, a slice above typical Quality/Comfort Inns. Fridge and a large bathroom. Having SELF parking right on the premises is an enormous plus that is unusual in this city and the $25 they charge is competitive if not better. You can get at your car any time without asking... Don't know what's up with all the negative reviews. Let me address those reviewers: "It's a 3 Star Hotel, people, in New York City. You just got a hell of a deal. Quit whining" Okay, now that's off my chest. PRO: BIG room by NY standards, average size for the chain. FREE WiFi. Kind of a hassle to sign in... More

We have stayed in this area before and decided to try the verve. Very close to the subway, that's why we like the location, very good prices. I admit the breakfast variety could be a bit better but there is cereal, eggs, sausage, bread, bagels, waffles, and the only fruit is apples. Clean room on the sixth floor. We were... More

This 6-storey hotel located in the Long Island City hotel quartier isn't quite a business-focused nor is it a tourist-focused hotel. I guess it tries to be a bit of both. My room was spacious, a plus for New York City. I had a coffee maker and small fridge, but no microwave. The ice machine on my floor was out... More

More than I except for this money in NYC. Only 2 stations from 5th avenue, clean and wide, excellent furnished rooms, and most important - very nice and smiled people, who are working there. I recommend this hotel!

There's a lot to recommend this hotel - totally undone by their ridiculous Internet setup. Good news - it's free. Bad news - every time your computer goes to sleep, you have to reenter the password. Worse news - they change the passwords from time to time and don't tell you. C'mon, folks, it's the second decade of the twenty-first... More

Visiting daughter in LIC. The Verve Hotel was perfect for us - reasonable rates, very clean, friendly and professional staff, adequate complimentary breakfast. Small underground parking garage at $25 per day. Really nice exercise equipment. Within a few minutes walk of Queens Plaza train station. Not a good area for shopping and restaurants, but that is not an issue since... More
