I attended a wedding here and had reserved a room to stay the night. The entire hotel is crooked and slanted and the rooftop accommodations they supposedly pride themselves on is small, and highly unsafe! The wedding itself was fabulous solely due to the grooms amazing planning and the majority of it was from companies not associated with the ravel.... More

Moody receptionist who could not be bothered to be polite. Room unclean and despite specifically requesting a high level room with a view at the time of booking we got a ground floor room with a road and building site. Soured wine from dispensers. We have stayed in fantastic hotels during our stay in USA but frankly this one is... More

I don't know what planet some of the reviewers live on buy this place was great. It might not be spotless and brand new but it was clean and very comfortable. The room had a nice balcony facing NYC. What a view with the Geo. Washington Bridge and the NYC skyline. I walked down Vernon St to nice area with... More

My husband and I were visiting New York for the first time for our 2nd wedding anniversary! We tried looking in Manhattan from hotels and definitely did not want to pay those prices. And we stubble across this hotel, with a great price and location was fine by us! No more than 15 minutes to the city and we were... More

The Ravel Hotel is in a good location overlooking Manhattan on the East River with fantastic views, the staff were helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest subway station and it only takes about 10 minutes to Times Square, Central Park etc. so for all the attractions it ideally located. The hotel is generally clean and... More

My husband and I needed a hotel room in New York City for one night in order to meet with family members the next day. We searched for accommodations on several websites: at least 3 stars rated and relied on pictures describing venues and reviews. We had trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel room since it was the 9/11 week... More

This really is a great place to stay in New York, the rooms are big by New York standards you get a good nights sleep and the showers are decent enough. Breakfast is a worth while investment as it's all you can eat. The roof top bar is great for a view over but try the view from the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding that was just around the block. The location to the venue was great. And that's where it stops. There are five parking spaces offered as "first come first serve" it's a joke. So street parking it is. At check in we got an entire list of things we would be charged... More

The first room we had was 513 which with some mud smell. We reported to the reception and they changed the room to 508 immediate. We saw reception came up to check the first room with the cleaning lady right afterward so I can said service of the receptions are very good and efficient. Room is spacious but finishing is... More

Whenever I visit in New York I always stay somewhere in Queens, simply because you can get real value for money hotel wise and its only a $25 cab ride in and out of the centre of manhattan. You could pay say $6-700 a night for times square but I really cant see why you would waste your money when... More
