This really is a great place to stay in New York, the rooms are big by New York standards you get a good nights sleep and the showers are decent enough. Breakfast is a worth while investment as it's all you can eat. The roof top bar is great for a view over but try the view from the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding that was just around the block. The location to the venue was great. And that's where it stops. There are five parking spaces offered as "first come first serve" it's a joke. So street parking it is. At check in we got an entire list of things we would be charged... More

Rats the size of cats.I discussed it with the head front desk on September 20, 2014 and he replied that I can wait with them there, since I was dissatisfied with his attitude on a cab call I requested. During the night the workers say anything to anyone. You cay buy your services here but THEY DO NOT CARE OF... More

We saw reception came up to check the first room with the cleaning lady right afterward so I can said service of the receptions are very good and efficient. Room is spacious but finishing is... More

Whenever I visit in New York I always stay somewhere in Queens, simply because you can get real value for money hotel wise and its only a $25 cab ride in and out of the centre of manhattan. You could pay say $6-700 a night for times square but I really cant see why you would waste your money when... More

We were looking forward to staying at the Ravel and getting a great view of the Manhattan east side skyline. Well we got a king size room on the first floor with a view of the street through the metal bars on the window. We should have made sure we could get a room with a view and not doing... More

Ravel Hotel Review Our stay took place in May of 2014. My wife and I were stopping in NYC for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. We chose the Ravel Hotel based on three major things: 1. The location in proximity to Manhattan 2. The luxurious appearance of the hotel and the rooms themselves; and 3. The view! It... More

Beautiful boutique hotel, looking at Manhattan, the room has 2 queen bed but was spacious, with cool bathroom "closet". The rooftop restaurant was a bit expensive, but the atmosphere was cool and the view is awesome. we did not had the chance to try their breakfast (13$) and I wish we did not have to pay for the internet (come... Super friendly front desk and very professional. Absolutely loved the decor and layout of the room. I could see where some people would not like the open bathroom design though. I tend to like some privacy while going to the bathroom but I travel alone so it was not a problem. Great view of New York City skyline and the... More

A lot to like about this place. Great bathrooms, spacious and modern. Fantastic view from the penthouse level. Funky restaurant on the top floor. Free shuttle options from the hotel to stations and vice-versa And only a short Met ride into Manhattan However, it is a long way away from anything. The nearby area is a bit dodgy, you wouldn't...
