This is a long overdue review. This February we booked the entire Arnold House for a weekend. Despite the blizzard outside the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff at the Arnold House made it the perfect place to relax, reminisce and celebrate FAMILY. Thank you for making this a truly memorable weekend!!!

Best staff, best food, best drinks, best rooms, best access to hiking, best trailing running, and best place to visit a real live working farm and make your own cheese. Obviously “best” can be subjective, so let me provide some context. My wife and I are 30/40-somethings that live in NYC, but spend many of our weekends in the Hudson... More

My sister and I thought we might not have too much to do staying at The Arnold and would just have a nice, relaxing weekend out of the city, but were happily surprised that there were lots of great activities around. We met baby goats at Apple Pond Farm and tried all the beers at Catskills Brewery, went to local... More

My husband and I and dog (the place is pet friendly which is great) had a perfect weekend at The Arnold House in March 2015. We love the design of the place, it was hip but also super cosy and comfortable, and was made even more pretty as the area was still covered in snow. We even managed to get... More

We booked a weekend at the Arnold House for a cozy winter retreat. We chose to go to the Arnold House based on it's proximity to NYC (2 hours driving), amenities (charming decor, fire places), activities (breweries nearby, snowshoeing, bikes), price and general ambiance. It did not disappoint. The rooms are clean, staff is accommodating, the guests are friendly and... More

I stayed at the Arnold House for the weekend with my boyfriend and his dog and we had a fantastic time. After some initial confusion with the reservation, they were able to accommodate us in the Family Suite, and we were able to enjoy a much-needed weekend away! The staff are all extremely friendly and the hotel is simply designed... More

We went to the Arnold House for a wonderful winter weekend away... and thats exactly what we got. We went for their first annual ice fishing event, and while we personally, didn't catch any fish, it really didn't matter. We had so much fun! The owners and all the staff went out of their way to make sure they knew... More

My wife and I wanted to get away from the city for a weekend during the weekend. We love the Catskills and winter activities: from snowshoeing to spending the afternoon reading a book in front of a fireplace. Sims and Kirsten, the owners of the Arnold, have created a concept beyond a hotel: you will feel that you are at... More

The Arnold house is the perfect winter getaway with your significant other or a group of friends. From the moment we arrive, we received warm and friendly service. The room was quaint with a comfortable bed and a bluetooth speaker so we could listen to our own music while getting ready in the morning (love the malin & goetz products... More

The Arnold House has the small town charm one expects from an Inn in the Catskills yet also contains a sharp sophistication in both the physical design/decor and the curated visitor experience. The rooms are clean, beautifully lit with natural sunlight, and tastefully decorated. The Tavern attached to the The Arnold House is warm and inviting, offering delicious food and... More
