Our stay at the Maplewood Inn was fine. The hotel is showing it's age but is quite satisfactory and good value. It has a fitness room, an indoor swimming pool and a restaurant /bar with live entertainment in the evening. It is close to the huge Destiny mall and just off the highway.

The hotel room was dirty and smelly and the hair dryer did not work. Hotel staff did address our concerns by giving us room spray and a different hair dryer. The lamp shades were covered in dust. Groups of people were standing by front entrance outside smoking so we got to walk through cigarette smoke every time we went in... More

Nice stay at the Maplewood, stayed 1 night in May. Will stay there again at my next shopping trip in Syracuse. Close to the highway, close to the mall and restaurants nearby. No breakfast included by McDonald's nearby.

I stayed at this hotel approx. 3 weeks ago, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped in the Manager Sean Reid was extremely helpful! He provided us with maps and explained some places to go in the area, I also wanted to stay an extra night and he honoured the price I paid... More

I booked a 5 night stay at this hotel based on the online reviews and their advertised amenities. Their fitness center equipment was all broken. I tried to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant only to find out they were out of nearly every menu item from fruit too muffins. So I went hungry to my seminar that morning. The... More

I stayed at the Maplewood Inn on a business trip to the Syracuse area. This was one of the few hotels in the area with a vacancy, so I gave it a try. Pros, clean rooms with King size beds. Friendly staff and good housekeepers. Low priced worth free breakfast, wi-fi and indoor pool. Cons, dated look in the lobby... More

I came to the MapleWood in for an interview and they shuttled me to the hospital and back as well as picking me up and dropping me off at my transit options. This was above and beyond what other hotels offered. I stayed Memorial Day Monday and the prices where very expensive downtown and MapleWood offered me a good price... More

I recently coordinated a family reunion/graduation weekend for my family of 30 people at the Maplewood Inn. On what is the busiest weekend in Syracuse, NY; Syracuse University Graduation Weekend. Having very little knowledge of the area, I stumbled upon The Maplewood Inn on the web. Admittedly, I was very skeptical at first. As a former hotel executive, I know... More

Well, the noise from Route 81 wasn't a problem, that's about the best I can say for the Maplewood Inn. Rooms were pedestrian and overpriced, two towels in the bath and one was undersized (rooms were quite clean however, so I guess that's another plus), no breakfast provided other than tacky little muffins and granola bars. The attached Carnegie Grill... More
