Was visiting for a family reunion and 65th wedding anniversary of my aunt and uncle. This is such a quaint B&B with amazing restaurant, friendly old fashioned bar, with the perfect location next to the Mohawk River and Erie Canal. James is a fantastic chef and innkeeper, and Charlie, the bartender was very accommodating to our large group staying there... More

We made a last minute stop on way home from our vacation and were fortunate to get the last room and still have time for dinner. James is a gracious host and amazing chef, the food was incredible! The accomodations are good value for the money but the effort is definitely more towards the restaurant-bed was very comfortable though and... More

We stayed in Little Falls one night on our way to the east coast on vacation. Cant say much for the town as a whole but the area the Canal Side Inn is located in has some nice stores as well as the historic Erie Canal. We stayed in the Boucase Suite which was clean, well appointed and absolutely huge.... More

James, the proprietor, does pretty much everything, so don't expect to waited on hand and foot. Good clean bed and breakfast though. Walk up to second or third floor, but the A C had been turned on in our room before we arrived on a very hot day and it was nice and cool there. I was satisfied in general... More

While traveling across country, we looked for a B&B at 8:30 on a Saturday night within a reasonable distance of the New York State Thruway. Canal Side Inn in Little Falls, New York, came up. We called, and were offered a suite for $99. I explained that we were still an hour away, and the owner said, "no problem." The... More

Our table of 6 was warmly welcomed and seated promptly. For appetizers, the soft shell crab and calamari were especially good. Some dinners were also served with salad and soup. (I think I missed this on the menu.) My vegetable bisque was very good. Although the Caesar salad was also good, I was filling up too fast to finish it!... More

Roomy, clean and well-appointed rooms, with a fine restaurant downstairs featuring fine French-inspired cuisine. Take a stroll around Little Falls to take in the canal and some great architecture. A nice surprise.
