The place feels blessed as soon as you walk in the entry way. The owner is kind and helpful. And she tends to try to stay out of the guest's way. But is around if you need her or have questions. The bedroom was decorated with old fashioned antiques and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Out back there... More

We accidentally stayed where Arthur Conan Doyle stayed, so we were thrilled here and would definitely go back for the morning coffee on the screened in porch, which is a social event. The bathroom is down the hall, so I can't say it's the most exciting place I've ever stayed but I am giving it the highest rave possible for... More

Yes, as one of the other reviewers mentioned, the buildings are old, the floors are squeaky and the bathrooms are shared amongst several rooms. But it isn't bad. Teresa, the owner, is very nice and helpful. And our room (#4) had a view of Cassadaga Lake, which was beautiful! Lily Dale itself is kind of a trip back to another... More

I recently returned from Lily Dale, I stayed two nights here. I thought the place was quiet, clean, comfortable and the people who owned it were very nice. I could come and go as I pleased, it was close to everything...shopping, eating, the Assembly Hall and other workshops that I attended. When I go back to Lily Dale, I will... More

The accomodations at any of the guest houses in Lily Dale are seriously lacking in creature comforts. The floors are old and squeaky and the bathrooms are really old and patched together. One bathroom for five or six rooms causes major scheduling problems, which means you need to wake up really early to take a decent shower or wait until... More

This was my first visit to Lily Dale (and it won't be my last...). I found "Jewel" online and booked my room. The "guest home" is a nice Victorian. Rooms are comfy and there are shared bathrooms. There is air conditioning (unlike the hotels!) which is pretty important on hot summer days in Lily Dale. The owners were very accomodating... More

You can spot Jewel on the Lake easily on Cottage Row- it is the one with the Tibetan prayer cloths hanging across the front of it. The first thing visitors will notice when they enter the home is the large porch, which visitors can enjoy coffee on. There is a refrigerator and coffee making area behind the seating area, for...
