We arrived early and Diane met us in the foyer. She gave us a tour of the lovely accommodations and we decided to have dinner at the Lakefront Inn. Tony and Diane made us a excellent dinner. It was all very organic and not what you would have at any restaurant. An absolutely wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed in the “premiere” room. It sits on the top floor of the three story house. I wouldn’t call it lakefront, although you can see the lake from the window and the view is impressive. The minute we walked in the room, we were disappointed. It was small and lacked a lot of the comforts you’d... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn during Move-In Weekend at the local Universities and colleges because there were no other rooms available. What luck for us. The setting is wonderful, our room could not have been more comfortable and interesting, and the host, Diane a delight. We stayed in the Villa which came with a balcony and a... More

This is a lovely getaway location. Diane is very nice and welcoming. The view of the lake is gorgeous! The rooms are beautiful, nicely decorated and clean. Free breakfast is delicious but pretty small portions are given.

The location of this inn is private and with pleasant views. The owner is extremely nice and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. Problems arise when/if you have food allergies. There is no option for breakfast. So if you are wheat or lactose intolerant, be prepared to be buying breakfast soon after you leave the property. The first morning... More

My husband and I spent an amazing, seldom had weekend alone in The Lakefront Inn while visiting Ithaca recently. I found the Inn on another site and called to book it immediately. Diane was warm and friendly and reserving the room was effortless. Afterward I read reviews on Trip Advisor and, like another traveler said, I became a little worried...... More

I like to research Tripadvisor before making reservations, but when I booked a stay at the Lakefront Inn I did not do this for some reason. When I read some of the reviews, I wondered what I was getting myself into, and I actually thought of canceling and getting a hotel. How glad I am that I didn't--we would have... More

We really enjoyed our afternoons on the deck overlooking the lake, sipping our wine. It was extremely relaxing! The rooms were beautiful decorated, and made us feel like we were a million miles from home. It was very convenient location to get into Ithaca, to visit wineries and to see amazing waterfalls.

Nice location from Syracuse and close to Ithaca. House is friendly and views are spectacular. Pick up some finger lakes wine and sit on the patio overlooking Cayuga lake. Takes 3 days to see the falls and gorges in the area.

Stumbled upon this unassuming hamlet high above Seneca Lake. We drove up on an impossibly crowded weekend in May daring ourselves to find lodging at the last minute. We called to see if they had anything left, and to our luck, they were opening a newly remodeled villa on the same property. We were the first to stay in a... More
