This place is charming. I met a friend for the night so we stayed in room 9 which has 2 double beds. The staff was very friendly and concerned about our comfort. There's a wonderful, large breakfast room on the 3rd floor right near room 9. A staff member (didn't catch her name unfortunately) made a delicious hot breakfast for... More

My two grown sons, my husband, and I spent two nights in this quaint 1830's B&B and found it charming. Yes, the floors creaked and were "wavy" in places but the building is over 175 years old and some imperfections are to be expected. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. No elevator but climbing stairs is good... More

I truly enjoyed staying at this Inn. It is an historic landmark, so it is old. There are floorboards that may creak slightly but that's the nature of the beast. It is a quaint place with quite a bit of charm. The breakfast was good and the restaurant downstairs served very good food as well. There was a bit of... More

I couldn't be happier to hear that you enjoyed your visit, Kelly! It sounds like the older charms of our inn were right up your alley, which is always music to our ears. If there's ever an issue with your room or bathrooms, please don't hesitate to let us know at the time -- we'll happily get that taken care... More

I loved the décor. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. And our room - #4 - was a really good size. We liked the breakfast. The staff was super friendly, and I was more than happy to take the free margarita the bartender offered after mixing a batch for another customer. Clearly the management knows how... More

Thank you for this glowing review! It's wonderful to hear that you were so impressed with our accommodations. We put a lot of thought into making our rooms cozy and welcoming, and I can't wait to pass along your kind words to the team behind them. As far as the noise from the road, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts... More

We stayed two nights and very much enjoyed our time at Rogues Harbor. We had a great dinner the first night there and also had drinks in the nicely appointed adjacent bar, a nice amenity for a B&B. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, although we were told that... More

William, I'm delighted to hear you had such a lovely time staying at our place. Making our home in an older building, we do have our quirks, but we're still glad you found everything to be comfortable. Hope to see you back next time you're in New York! Best, Eileen and Staff More

The pictures are deceiving - I couldn't stay there and was willing to sleep in the car rather than in the room we had booked. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling, dirt in the entry and halls, sheets didn't look freshly laundered. The shower curtain was very dark and would have prevented any light from filtering into the shower. We left and... More

we had a wonderful stay at this quirky hotel. the building itself is older but the room was bright and appropriate for the style of hotel. the bed was super comfortable. breakfast was simple but tasty and the meals and beer at the pub were both excellent. good location for the area, even if a bit noisy as it's on... What a lovely review! I couldn't be happier to hear that we were able to make your stay such a hit and I can't wait to pass along your kind words to the rest of my team. As for that phone charger, it was absolutely no trouble at all! We know that's a pretty essential item, so it was our... More

The room was decent..with sufficient character, ....old building musty smell, creaking floor boards et al......shower stall was tiny...a lot of road noise....all of that was forgivable but what was absolutely not was the worst Sunday morning breakfast we have ever had. I guess some of the other reviewers were just lucky to have had a completely different breakfast experience or... More

I'm so sorry to hear that your experience wasn't quite what you expected. With age comes a certain amount of 'charm' and different quirks, but I know that's... More

I'm so sorry to hear that our breakfast left you so underwhelmed, Vinod. That's certainly not the impression we're looking to make, so I would love to know what wasn't hitting the spot. With a name of Rogue's Harbor, one would expect something a little offbeat. The massive 4-story brick structure north of Ithaca in the town of Lansing certainly lives up to the name. Built is 1830, one can see and feel the history in this unusual but charming Bed and Breakfast. Outside, you can see how the old structure has settled... More
