I visited in January with my wife for our honeymoon. We had never been to Sese so we didn't know what to expect. So booked I for two days in Kampala with the intention of investigating other places when in Sese.We ended up staying for a week. We loved the privacy of the cottages and the serenityof the place. The... More

I stayed there over the Christmas Holiday. Unlike the rest of the beach hotels that were booming with loud music and activity, Panorama was quiet and serene. Allowing the whole family to have some good quiet time. The hotel is closely supervised by the owning family so you get the best value for your money. I definately will make another... More

The Panorama Cottages are just a five minutes walk from the beach. The small Bandas are furnished with everything you need. The most amazing thing about the Panorama Cottages are the people working there. Their friendliness and openness is beyond everything I have ever experienced on Uganda or Africa for that matter. The food selection is broad enough and it... More

If you want to get away from it all, this is the spot. Arnold and staff are very friendly and helpful. The garden is full of creatures, not all invited. Cottages not luxury, but okay for Uganda, and a great value. Breakfast buffet is the perfect start. Don't order fish here or anywhere on the island. Surprisingly expensive considering it... More

I was at Panorama lodges this year December 2012 and I have some positives things to say about the place. The journey is about 4 hours from Port Entebbe. As I was a sole traveller for the first time,I have to say I was generally feeling safe enough on the Island and the lodges. The staff are friendly, courteous and will... More

We stayed in Panorama for three nights, renting a tent (the cottages were full). The place is some 500m from the jetty and from the lakeshore, a little bit separate from the other accommodation facilities there are on the island, which is nice (unless you want to stay on the beach, of course). On quite large grounds, mainly covered by... More

It is a nice place and I think it is worth it the money you pay for what you get (apart from the small problem we had). The place is clean and the food is fine, although we only had breakfast there, which had fruits, cereals, tea, coffee, some cakes and several options of local food. We spent three nights... More

Although set a little way from the beach these cottages are an excellent place to say. Set around some tranquil gardens the cottages are basic but clean and those without running hot water are provided with an enormous jerry can of hot water each morning/evening as you desire. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the beaches of Kalangala bay... More
