We stayed as two families in a dorm room, the beds were comfy and we slept well. The views over the river are beautiful and the site has a well kept feel. The pool is large enough and cleaned daily. We really enjoyed relaxing inn the bar area. Staff are super helpful and the food is very reasonable and good... More

Stayed in the dorms but had a room to myself for two out of the nights. The dorms are far enough away from the bar for a good night's sleep but getting hot water for a shower can be a problem as there is not enough water pressure for more than one shower at a time (there are four showers... More

Where to start with this place!! Staying here while I was in Uganda was fantastic, it's a beautiful spot the view over the river with all the wildlife around you on camp! The camp is amazing whether you stay in the dorms or safari tents all very reasonable prices. The food is also very good off the menu! But the... More

Our free night stay, due to rafting earlier, put us in the safari tents because the dorms were full. We had two to a tent with extremely comfortable beds that led to a great nights' rest. The reception was hard to find when we first walked in, but they were very helpful in securing taxis for the next morning as... More

It's an utterly stunning location on the banks of the Nile and offers you the perfect post adventure sunset view point. The bar is both fun and incredibly relaxed with comfy sofas in which to lounge and soak up Jinja. I'm not a natural back packer/camper but I was welcomed, shown my options and made to feel at ease. The... More

Really really nice place to camp. The views looking over the nile are amazing and because we did the rafting with Nalubale Rafting we got two free nights. The restaurant bar area is really cool, can watch tv, dvd's and meet other travellers. You can pop over the road to party at NRE but we just chilled out. Food is... More

What a great place. A legendary spot to hang out, great nights and days were had here. Indoor unicycling completions down steps should definitely become the norm. The location by the river is spot on, but as we all know, it's the people that make a place what it is, and I fully recommend a visit here. Cheers all.

We recently stayed here and loved every minute. The location is amazing with beautiful views over the Nile especially at sunset. The bar area is a great place to relax and the food is also very good and always served with a smile. We were amazed by the price which is so cheap. We also loved the swimming pool which... More

Spacious campsite with an excellent view. It's also very quiet which is good if you want to sleep, if you want to party you can just pop over to Nile River Explorers next door, and in between there is also the Black Latern restaurant if you want to grab a nice dinner instead of the otherwise fine bites available at... We stayed in the safari tents, and had a great time. It is set in beautiful scenery, the tents directly overlook the nile. We only had breakfasts there, and ate at the Black Lantern down the road which would also recommend. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, organising a private boat to take us on the river for... More
