As someone who LOVED this hotel for MANY years, I regrettably must state the obvious: It has gone too far downhill and is not worth staying at. It suffers from years and years of neglect; the physical plant has deteriorated significantly, the general maintenance (beds, carpets, drapes, televisions (circa 1980's tube tv's with poor cable reception), pool area, ventilation systems,... My family and I stayed here and it was a great hotel. It was very clean and the staff were very nice and willing to answer any questions that we had about the area. Even when we called down to the desk to check out the person was a pleasure to talk with and thanked us for our stay. I... More

Our team stayed here for a hockey tournament. Absolutely nothing wrong here. Staff were actually very accommodating and friendly but the hotel itself is worth just what it costs. It's old. You can hear everything (above you and beside you). Pool area is the attraction for kids 100%and it did not let us down. I had an amazing sleep, beds... More

Accessibility may be an issue if you have trouble walking up and down hills. Reception and some rooms are at the bottom near the highway the main building with the majority of rooms and pool is at the top of the hill. The rooms are spacious, a little retro from modern times, yet clean with new linens and bed-spreads. The... More

I stayed at this Hotel whilst on an Fall Colours coach trip. If you have trouble walking distances or climbing up steps and hills, this is definitely not a Hotel for you. Access on foot from the road is up several flights of wooden stairs. Reception is a separate affair from the building where the rooms are, rather confusing. The... More

I stayed at this property for three nights while attending a hockey camp. Check in was painless, the front desk clerk was very friendly and offered a lot of information. Stayed in room 202, which was certainly large enough for me with 2 queen beds. The bed and pillow were quite comfortable. This room had a small balcony, which allowed... More

Stayed in room 108 after a 5 day backpacking trip in the ADK High Peaks region. Room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the patio of the distant mountains. Wi-fi worked great as well as cell phone service from the room. Front desk manager was friendly and even remembered us when we checked out the next morning.... More

Stayed in the Lakeside Building. Nice large room with a classic camp feel. Very helpful and friendly front desk. Place was dated but everything was clean and it was such a good deal. Wi-Fi worked well and breakfast was what you would expect from a Comfort Inn.

Stayed here as part of a Cosmos bus tour and everyone associated with the Comfort Inn has bent over backwards to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Our room was spacious and clean with everything in the room to make our stay complete. There was pool noise, but it promptly stopped at 10:00 when the "pool curfew" began.

Stayed in Room 312 in the Tree House building, upstairs with no elevator. Room was extremely dated and run down, dirty carpets, damaged furniture, light fixtures broken, wall paper peeling off the walls etc. Not what I'd expect at a Comfort Inn. On the positive room was large and located in a separate building located directly on the lake, room... More
