Stayed there 1 night taking my daughter to camp. Initially had a room on the 1st floor with 2 queens. Furnishings were fine, but we thought the room seemed a little damp. Maybe because there is an indoor pool on the 1st floor? Don't know. Anyway, I mentioned it to the staff and we got moved right away to the... more

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to Saranac Lake to visit family. Wish this hotel was closer to that area because we would have stayed here the whole time that we visited. The kids were thrilled with the pool and with the 12 noon checkout we were able to let them swim on a rainy morning.... more

We travelled to Lake Placid with two adults and two children (9 & 6). Reserved a king suite room so the kids could have the pullout couch and we had the bedroom. Large room with lots of space and storage. Two tv's so no fighting. Went swimming in the pool every night. Pool room could have been a little cooler... more

The room was spacious but stayed very hot, even though we lowered the thermostat. The hairdryer was missing and the tv was outdated, but everything else was fine. There's in-room free wi-fi available. It's a few minutes by car to the shops and restaurants. It's a great town and I would stay here again. more

We recently attended the annual Can Am tournament in Lake Placid--all kids, ALL hockey, ALL the time!! The Marriot Courtyard was perfect!!! Theentire staff was accommodating, pleasant, and appreciative of our patronage {completely unlike the Crowne Plaza where surly and rude restaurant staff made their disdain for hockey families VERY clear!} The front desk staff was warm and friendly, greeting... more

If you are looking for great value at a clean and well appointed hotel for your stay at Lake Placid, then this is the place for you. I travel a lot with business and found this hotel to be one of the nicest I've stayed at. We stayed at the hotel during the week, so there were no tournament crowds... more

first time staying at courtyard marriot in lake placid. I have been going to lake placid for over 15 years and must say, this is a welcome addition. I wish the lobby had a wood burning fireplace instead of gas fired, but I guess corporate america's insurance won't allow it. Other than that, very clean and great staff. Room was... more

This was our second stay at the Marriot for a ski trip. The hotel was not as clean as it had been. Housekeeping did not replace cups/glasses. There were 2 flies in our room. Gross. Overall, not a big deal. We enjoyed our room. We had a king suite since our 14 year old son was with us. Front desk... more

Stayed here on a Saturday night in November. The hotel was nice, and the staff were very polite and pleasant to deal with; the main problem that we had seemed to be with the location of our room (112). It was the first room down the first floor hallway; right behind the bar. My girlfriend and I were kept awake... more
