We visited Lake Placid during our children's Feb break and had a wonderful time. Although we thought it was quite expensive....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge was beautiful and our one bedroom sweet was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This was not our first visit to the Whiteface lodge and certainly not our last. We have 4 children between the ages of 10 and 4 and no one ever wants to leave the property when we are there.
