First time in Lake Placid but hopefully will not be the last based upon our great experience at this lodge. The staff were truly friendly and helpful. You are greeted with a smile by everyone that you pass. The rooms are spotless and the decor throughout the resort reflects a great deal of care by the owners. They have an... More

We spent five nights in a superior suite and were very pleased. The suite was enormous, with a stylish kitchen, eating area and living room, as well as a full bath and laundry room. There was also a master suite with an en suite bathroom. Our suite was on the first floor, and our patio was the one adjacent to... More

Stayed here for a long weekend. Amazing! Helpful staff. Tasty drinks. Great decor. The gym is really really nice. And the bowling alley is so fun. Will definitely stay here again. Can't wait to go back there again.

We recently stayed at the Whiteface Lodge for a long weekend. The hotel is very unique. You actually feel that you are staying in an old ski lodge with all of the bells and whistles including raccoon, bear, and moose in strategic locations throughout the lodge. We stayed in a suite which was very beautifully decorated with a patio mere... More

Whiteface Lodge is a big, beautifully constructed resort that looks like what a National Parks lodge should be. Suites are huge, very clean, and nicely appointed with full kitchens, comfortable living rooms, and great porches. The property is really beautiful, but it's hard to capture in a photo what the interior of a suite looks like--they are much brighter and... More

Whiteface Lodge genuinely exceeded all my expectations. The layout of the lodge, the exquisite service, the amenities all wrapped up to an extraordinary stay. I found the staff to be professional and helpful, going that extra mile. Let's not forget we had 3 drama queen tween girls, yet the staff remained courteous throughout our stay. The amenities were abundant; chocolate... More

Been visiting the Lodge since it's opening... it's always been a complete pleasure for the family. From when the kids were toddlers to today, pre-teens. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The lakeside offsite-property allows any guest to enjoy all sorts of water activities. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visits whether in summer or winter. The hotel itself has... More

First time visitor to Lake Placid and this resort. First class all the way, stayed in a two bedroom suite, spacious and comfortable. Words cannot describe all the amenities provided, you will be amazed and pleased. Highly competent and professional staff. I' ll be back.

Whiteface Lodge is one of the most stunningly beautiful properties ever. So why did I give it a four rather than a five star review? Senior management does not focus on the customer experience--and with just a little effort this place could be fantastic. Don't get me wrong-the staff are pleasant and friendly-as long as you stick to their script.... More
