My wife and I and her aunt have stayed at Edge of Lake every year in Sept for over 20 years. Have always enjoyed our stay. A couple of years ago they remodeled and we liked it even better. I stayed at Edge of the Lake growing up while speed skating during the winter. I have three siblings - and we all have many great memories of the place. I don't remember smoke (as mentioned above) or urine. It's a nice place. And the owner is extremely friendly and accomidating.

We requested a non-smoking bedroom with a queen bed. Got a room that was a smoking room before with 2 doubles. Both adjoining rooms had smokers and the smoke would seep under the adjoining door. My husbands asthma kicked in all weekend and ruined any enjoyment we got from staying there. The comforters smelled like old wet dog and the... More
