The cabins have been refinished and looked stunning from the road. However, the bed I stayed in folded up like a gordita. I had back pain after about 4 hours of sleep. Just returned from 2 nights at Cobble Mountain Lodge.The cabin we stayed in was #17.Here goes......First the good. Very clean cabin.New appliances in kitchen. If you stay in Lake Placid, you should check out this place. It has cabins with kitchenettes and the prices are unreal. If you go to hike, ski or fish, this is the place to check out. I stumbled upon it last month and will be back. more

This motel and cabins is a short car ride from the main shopping/tourist area of Lake Placid. It's right across from the golf course.
