nice and simple hotel. Privet owner that can give tips about places around. they didn't have the type of room I ordered so they wanted to downgrade me for less money or upgrade me for extra money. finally they upgraded me for the same rate because I didn't agree to pay more and told them it's not my problem.... good... What it is: a roof over your head, a good night sleep, a breakfast that gets the motor started and off you go. What it is not: gushing hosts that take you into their grand historic home and pamper you. No parlor, nor wine, tea or crumpets reception. No breath taking antiques, china doll collections or bears running through the... More

This is a quaint little bed and breakfast. The rooms are large and clean. We were in room 6 which is adjacent to the dining room, kitchen, living room check in area. You can hear everyone talking. We are early risers, so this wasn't a problem. Our room also did not have a TV. Others said they paid extra for... More

We stayed with friends in the B&B (rooms #2 and #4) on the 2nd floor. There is nothing fancy about this place. The rooms are quite small particularly # 2. Both have private bathrooms. There is no TV and the furniture is old. To say it’s nostalgic is a compliment. Room # 4 had a double and a single bed.... More

We showed up later in the evening, so there was no one there to inform us about the place. Our room was very basic(except for the gigantic painting of a hawk on the wall), private bathroom right outside of it. In the morning there was still no one around, coffee was made though and that was nice. We went out... More

We spent four nights in "The Apartment" during the peak fall color season. It features a living room with futon, bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and kitchen. The suite has easy access both to the parking lot and the main B&B area. We were comfortable throughout, and the price of $100/night was reasonable. We met the friendly kitties, and the... More

Importantly, and to note that this is not a complaint or put down - we enjoyed our stay very much - we just felt that the accommodation was starting to look a little tired. The decor is of an old style, which is nice, it is just that it is starting to get a little shabby. The one thing that... More

we spent one night at this ski lodge on our way from Montreal, Canada to Ausable Chasm NY (other destinations are yet to come...so follow our honeymoon trip). My phone call to the lodge the day earlier was with terrible hearing & the receptionist did not make it easier on me to understand him. The lodge itself houses about 10... More

We stayed in room #3 which included a queen size bed for 2 nights. The place was nice and clean. Furniture was old but well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and we had very good sleep. The shower was fine but the water was not warm enough. We don't have much to say regarding the hospitality because we only... More

I could describe in detail the squeaking beds and doors that prevented any good sleep, the misleading information on their web site, and many other faults. However, what really earns this place the "worst hospitality ever" badge is the attitude of the owner, Carol. As other reviewers have already commented - for this attitude only you should never consider this... More
