I stayed in the Southwestern suite on my visit to Lake Placid. The location was completely unbeatable. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and had a kithen and full sitting room. The price was the best part though. It was about 1/3 the cost of everywhere else. I would HIGHLY recommend Brooks Sunshine Cottage

Great Facility, Perfect Location....Friendly and Professional Hosts. Room were very comfortable with big TV's. LOVED the Breakfast. The 2nd "B" (Breakfast)was over the top! What a great place this is!!! We went to Lake Placid in Dec. 2010 for a vacation and stayed here. It was such a nice vacation!! Our suite was comfortable, warm, clean and we had plenty of hot water.
