We spent a night in this motel because we wanted to see the leaves of the Adirondacks at peak. Hotels were a bit expensive, so looking to save a few bucks I stayed at this place. I booked it through booking.com. As I always do, I did my research on TA and surprisingly found the place to be highly rated.... More

We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. We work very hard to try and make all our customers happy. We are a small family run business and put as much extra money as possible back in the business. We do not have a big budget to work with but we do all we can. We are... More

After reading rave reviews on this hotel, I booked it for a family trip to Lake Placid (during Ironman week at $225/night). When we pulled up to the hotel, it seemed like a nice, no-frills spot. The guy who checked us in was nice and told us where our room was...and that's where things got weird. We were put in... More

As stated they booked a room for 3 nights during the Ironman. normally we have a 5 night minimum for this event. We had a late cancellation from a repeat customer and had to scramble to re-rent the room. We decided to let the unit go for 3 nights because it was close to the event. The unit is a... More

Our room was small, but immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. There was a nice little fridge in the room. We had no problems with noise or anything like that. If we had stayed longer, the size of the room might have been a problem, but for a... More

I visited Lake Placid in July and stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn primarily because the reviews were good and the rates were low. This place did not disappoint. The room was very clean and comfortable. You're not getting anything fancy here, but for me, cleanliness and comfort is more important than 5 star accommodations. It's very close to downtown... More

My wife and I planned on staying at the Maple Leaf Inn for two nights. We made the reservations online and arrived very late to the hotel (around 8 PM). We were greeted by the owner (who's name I unfortunately forgot), who was very nice and welcoming. But this is not the end. Because of personal reasons (that had nothing... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maple Leaf Inn. Rooms are clean and nice. Innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice heated pool for the summer months. Close to everything, and on the trolley route. Very quiet which was a pleasant surprise since it was on the main road. Can't wait to go again.

I agree with the other reviewer who called this place "a little gem". Great location and very friendly owners. They sold us our lift tickets at the same discounted price at which they receive them. I would definitely stay here again.

After an absolutely horrendous night at a place that offered "newly remodeled cabins" we thankfully found this property. The owners are friendly & will bend over backwards to do whatever it takes to make your stay perfect. Our room was clean & bright, had plenty of room, & felt very homey. It also had a small kitchenette in case we... More

This hotel is a small no frills place to stay. It was clean & the beds were comfortable the TV had lots of channels. No breakfast not even a donut. It was a bit over priced for just a bed but that is just the area.

We did a lot of research about the accommodations options in Lake Placid, as we planned on a couple nights there. Maple Leaf Inn kept coming up as a great value, and we decided to give it a try. What a cute little place! It reminded us of the old-fashioned motor inns that we stayed in as kids traveling with... More
