No frills motel with accomodating friendly service, large clean room, warm, free wifi, small bathroom, good water pressure, and walking distance to downtown Lake Placid. Parking right outside the door. Easy place to stay for our family of four.

We came to this hotel not expecting much but I have to say it was great. It far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless. The innkeepers knowledgeable, nice and accommodating. And the rooms though not fancy had everything that you would need. I highly recommend the Maple Leaf Inn and would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Our stay at the Maple Leaf Inn was very comfortable. The place was clean and had all family of four needed for ski vacation. It is true what some other reviews already mentioned that the owner was very friendly and helpful from our initial contact and booking and during our stay there. This place is walking distance from downtown Lake... More

Just got back from our yearly December trip to Lake Placid and the Maple Leaf Inn remains our favorite place to stay. If you want to spend a few quiet, restful days in beautiful Lake Placid yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, then this is the place to stay. It doesn't claim to be a... More

We spent a night in this motel because we wanted to see the leaves of the Adirondacks at peak. Hotels were a bit expensive, so looking to save a few bucks I stayed at this place. I booked it through booking.com. As I always do, I did my research on TA and surprisingly found the place to be highly rated.... More

We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. We work very hard to try and make all our customers happy. We are a small family run business and put as much extra money as possible back in the business. We do not have a big budget to work with but we do all we can. We are... More

After reading rave reviews on this hotel, I booked it for a family trip to Lake Placid (during Ironman week at $225/night). When we pulled up to the hotel, it seemed like a nice, no-frills spot. The guy who checked us in was nice and told us where our room was...and that's where things got weird. We were put in... More

As stated they booked a room for 3 nights during the Ironman. normally we have a 5 night minimum for this event. We had a late cancellation from a repeat customer and had to scramble to re-rent the room. We decided to let the unit go for 3 nights because it was close to the event. The unit is a... More

Our room was small, but immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. There was a nice little fridge in the room. We had no problems with noise or anything like that. If we had stayed longer, the size of the room might have been a problem, but for a... More

I visited Lake Placid in July and stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn primarily because the reviews were good and the rates were low. This place did not disappoint. The room was very clean and comfortable. You're not getting anything fancy here, but for me, cleanliness and comfort is more important than 5 star accommodations. It's very close to downtown... More

My wife and I planned on staying at the Maple Leaf Inn for two nights. We made the reservations online and arrived very late to the hotel (around 8 PM). We were greeted by the owner (who's name I unfortunately forgot), who was very nice and welcoming. But this is not the end. Because of personal reasons (that had nothing... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maple Leaf Inn. Rooms are clean and nice. Innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice heated pool for the summer months. Close to everything, and on the trolley route. Very quiet which was a pleasant surprise since it was on the main road. Can't wait to go again.
