My husband and I just spent the best 4th of July, birthday and family get-together ever. Our children and their spouses/significant other suprised us and planned a weekend at the High Peaks Resort. We had beautiful rooms on Mirror Lake to view the spectacular 4th of July fireworks and enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boats, and row boats. We took advantage... more

The accommodations and amenities at the High Peak Resort are second to none. There is no better location or more outgoing staff that that of the High Peaks Resort. My family’s experience at the High Peaks Resort will be among my most treasured memories. more

Three days before thanksgiving we found ourselves with out any family to share the holidays with. We searched on line and they were offering the "dow" deal. We absolutly loved this place! From the desk clerk to the General manager ( John I think) We felt like we were the only ones in the resort. We have stayed at all... more

On one of my trips through the hotel I rode the elevator with a young staffer who told me where I could go for an easy nature walk nearby (John Brown’s Farm... more

If you are looking for a newly remodeled resort to stay at in Lake Placid, this is the place. The location cannot be beat. Once you park your car in the garage attached to the resort (and by the way it is free parking), you don't have to move it until you leave. The resort is smack in the heart... more

You cannot beat the location in the Village of Lake Placid. Great views from everywhere and walking distance to everything around Mirror Lake. The food in the Reflections restaurant is fantastic and we enjoyed drinks on the brand new balcony with unobstructed views. This will draw crowds throughout the summer to socialize here and enjoy the scenery of the town... more

I recently stayed at the High Peaks Resorts and I would say we had a great time. The Hotel is 5 stars in my book. The rooms were clean and very much up to date. Be sure to swim in the indoor pool, take a boat ride and do a little fishing. My kids loved it Glenn J more
