The location is excellent with a lovely view. it was quite hard to reach, so we were glad that we had a 4X4. Big was our surpise to see big tour groups are staying in this lodge as well! Room was very good, spacious, clean, comfortable with a huge bathroom and a terrace with views over the river. We just... More

Namushasha was not part of our planned stops. We decided to stop for only 2 nights but ended up camping for 4 nights. On arrival Nicolene welcomed us warmly and even remembered who we were from the earlier phone call which was impressive. She was friendly, very helpfull and very profesional durring our entire stay. Which I found impressive because... More

The lodge and setting is beautiful and I am sure the rooms are too. The campsites are grassed on the river edge but the ablution facilities are the worst I have seen for a while. Tiny, dark and dusty. I hated spending any time in them. It is a pity because the everything else was great.

The reception was kind and informative. The rooms neat and clean. The game drive something extraordinary: we saw more elephants at the horseshoe than we had seen ever before. The dinner was nothing special.

I stayed 2 nights at Namushasha and the highlight was the bird-life. I even saw and heard an African wood owl. The service was very good! The guides on the game drive was well trained and could identify all birds on the trip. I will definitely go back there.

The service we received from the moment that I called for a booking was very good. The staff had been professional and friendly as we arrived at the gate, as well as the office. The quality of food at both dinner and breakfast was very good, although one would have expected a bigger variety on the dinner menu. The flashlight... More

Namushasha is situated on the banks of the Kwando (or Chobe, as it is known in Botswana) river. The chalets are right in the front row, but the vistas of the river are somewhat obstructed by trees and bushes. The main road (C49) has been tarred up to Namushasha and is easy to drive. The access road is good by... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a long day of travelling. We had one of the rooms overlooking the river at the bottom of the hill - so the view was not as good as those closer to reception. However, we could hear hippos at night and the walk was a good way to stretch our... More
