This Gondwana lodge is in a beautiful location, with bungalow rooms overlooking the river below. The rooms are spacious and clean, although lack air-conditioning or a fan (and the generator goes off between 11pm and 5am so it can get pretty warm). As with all Gondwana accommodation, the staff are lovely and the customer service is great. They were very... More

We recently spent 2 nights at Namushasha River Lodge. We originally booked a camp site, on arrival we were informed that a camp site was not available and were given a beautiful river front chalet for the same price! We were also given a free dinner, the manager went above and beyond all expectations. The facilities and location were lovely... More

This is the sixth Gondwana lodge that we visited, and it did not disappoint at all. The staff is well trained and friendly. We especially loved the sundeck, and boat cruise. The rooms are lovely, but we would have appreciated a ceiling fan during the hot November nights. The buffet dinners were very tasty. The lodge is situated near 3... More

We had a great time at Namushasha. The food was really tasty, the staff was friendly and the rooms are very large with a nice shower. This is necessary in the hot season. It get's very hot in the area and the only thing we missed has been an air-conditioning. But the whole power system is shut off during night... More

We stayed here during August 2013. The lodge rely on generators for power. No air cons present when we visited the lodge and it gets very hot here. Apart from that, our 2 nights stay was an excellent experience, always made felt welcome by friendly staff.

This lodge is located just off the river and consists of chalets, which are quite spacious and have a balcony overlooking the river. There may be a need for an update soon, but the chalets are still nice. Staff is also very friendly and helpful, also when you ask for advice that extends beyond the area or their own offers.... Service, food, and location were good. The sundownner boat trip wal very good. The familyroom was not not in the condition to satisfy me and my family. It was clean but it needs to get renovatet, the bathroom was old and the Room was overall in a bad technical Condition.

Short visit after a take over from Gondwana. I work for Namushasha River lodge formerly known as Namushasha Country lodge. I would say, I was surprise with all the new set ups - was expecting this to happen. Staff in general still friendly as I know them and was very happy to see me again. I applied for a Gondwana... By far the worst accommodation of the Gondwana Collection (I do know them all). In many aspects not up to known - and loved - Gondwana standards yet, although taken over some time ago already. Rooms poorly maintained. Dinner buffet was good though. The lady at the reception (her name started with a S if I am not mistaken) was... More

The location and friendly staff make this the ideal location to relax and enjoy nature at its best. Great location for birding!!! The game drive into the Bwabwata Game reserve was sooo rewarding - hundreds of elephants and to top it all a leopard siting in the late afternoon. Guides well informed.Brigitte is a star the way she is always... More
