This place is just fantastic. We spent 2 nights here and had a great time. We booked directly and from the start, the communication within Addi (owner) was excellent. It is located in a dramatic location 5km farther up the gorge from the narrow section and it is well worth travelling that extra distance. Its remote location meant the sky... More

On a three week motorcycle tour of Morocco our stay here was a real highlight. It's a great location, a short journey up from the Gorge 'proper' but to me vastly more enjoyable a location than the cramped, tourist filed Gorge itself. Taking a walk up the river bed for an hour with clear blue water running past our legs... More

First you have to go past the "gorges de thodra" for 5 km to arrive at Le Festival. We stayed in the cave rooms that are surprisingly cool at night. There is no airco but only natural airflow. The owner and staff are very friendly and even gave us an after dinner drum concert. The kids loved it and so... More

Of course the Gorge itself is a true beauty but the drive to and location of Le Festival is pretty stunning too. We loved this palace, the staff are super friendly and fun and the food is great (all veggies are grown in the garden). Definitely recommend staying here!

As all have stated, incredibly unique lodging option. All the stone work was hand done by the owner and staff and is a feat of imagination. Travelled here with two adults and three kids and it was their favorite place of our whole 2week trip. Staff was so friendly and helpful, went on a hike with the owner which was... More

Our stay at this beautiful hotel was a highlight of our trip. We were happy enough to stay here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. A very helpful and kind staff, also towards our three little daughters (especially Youssouf, he was the best friends of our daughters almost immediately). Not only did they serve very good (and... We had a wonderful time at Auberge le Festival. From the organic gardens to the cave bedroom to the exceptionally friendly staff. We would stay here again any time watching the sun go down over the luminous gorge walls while a nomadic family put away their goats for the night and sipping a cold drink. The staff was incredibly gracious... More

Nothing can prepare you for how spectacular this setting us. It is unique. We were two adults and three kids, so they put us in two rooms closeby. After arriving, they took us rock climbing. It was hot, so we took a plunge in the dipping pool afterwards. Dinner was the best tagine we've had in morocco. Breakfast was terrific... More

We are a family of 4 (2 adults/2 children...ages 5 and 2). We drove from Marrakech and stopped here for the night on our way to Merzouga. We had planned to arrive around 6:30pm but that changed when a rain storm hit in the afternoon/late afternoon. The road we were traveling flooded out and we had to wait till the... More

This hotel is located in the Todra Gorge. The setting is beautiful and remote. The staff offer a warm welcome and are very helpful. There are bike available, which I didn't find out about until we were leaving. There are hikes offered, both guided and not. The room we stayed in was described as a "cave" room. Very quiet and...
