While we have been in all sorts of accommodation, including tree houses, this was our first cave room. The cave room was fine, sort of a novelty, but would not be good for folks over 6' 2". My young adult children were in a more conventional style room with an unusual heating system. In the gorge, they use bottled gas... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Where the project stands is in the middle of nowhere - an off the grid inn .High expectations cannot be satisfied unfortunately .As in the review , there are lots of steps before you get to your room from the restaurant .They are easy going ; however ,they can be difficult for people over 62 ,especially if they... We stayed here for one night a part of our 5 day trip and found it a unique experience. Our room was a cave, really cozy and well decorated with comfortable beds. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Morroco, with a Kafta Tagine, Lentils, vegetables and soup which was to die for! Friendly,... More

We arrived late to this warm, welcoming auberge set just against the towering wall of this most magnificent Gorge. I was registered for a newly created cave room, which required many, many steps. The manager, who was actually portering my bags, offered to switch me to the main house. Surprisingly, I loved it: Cosy, rustic with stone walls, wonderful red... More

At the end of the Gorge you think you arrived but still have some time to go through this breathtaking valley. Unbelievable views. We arrived in the afternoon and had a warm welcome by the young people who run the place. I always seem to interrupt them during their meals. But they were always happy to help out. They even... Stunning location in the Todra Valley. We got a cave room, excavated out of the rockface ; comfortable bed, not enough light in the room. The bathroom was a little primitive, with only a drizzle of hot water coming out of the shower. The restaurant was great, with good food & service and they really try to engage everybody in... More

The eco hotel is harly visible from a distance as it blends into the Todra Gorge very well. The staff is very friendly and provides good meals. We had the cave room that adds even more to the atmosphere.

Magical hostelry, run by friendly young people creating such a happy laid-back atmosphere. It reminds me of mountaineering huts in the Alps. The terraced setting is quite breath-taking. The food was divine (produce from their own terraced garden), great service and rooms very comfortable and clean. Next time we must stay more than one night.

Gorgeous locale, environmentally friendly, and run by Moroccans. Not only does it feel right to support all of the above but they have got it right. Every comfort you need, coupled with unique and lovely rooms. I was sick of vegetable tangines by the second day of my trip--but the one we had here was very different--and one of my... More

Love the way the rooms are built into the mountain. Bathrooms as clean and I love the details on the basins. Excellent food and very good entertainment. Easy walk to the ravine and you see mountains in both sides. You can find some fossils on the rocks. Very good area to stop. Loved the hotel.

Excellent cave hotel with superb food and very good service. Incredible setting in the mountains and ravines both sides. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms of a high standard. Not always boiling hot water due to solar but this wasn't a problem for us.
