We stopped over here for one night and had a wonderful stay. The owner/manager was very friendly and genuine. If you're looking for luxury you probably won't find it here, but you will find great Moroccan hospitality. Great dinner and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the oasis, old town, and mountains.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home - tea, dates, nuts and a warm welcome! We had arranged to do a little cooking class, which was fantastic, and we ate our delicious tagine on the terrace, enjoying the view and relaxing. The interior details, music playing, and lots of comfy spots to sit and chill... More

while looking for a cosy, original, not too up-scale place to stay we spontaneously stopped here. and we haven't regretted it- the rooms upstairs offer an outstanding view of the valley and crumbling kasbahs across the river. we picked the room with the panarama shower. hospitality tea and snacks were plenty, the dinner was very tasty and after that we... It's not the fanciest guesthouse, but it had the warmest welcome. My wife, son (14) and I spent a night in early January and we were pleasantly surprised. Unexpectedly, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The owner could not have been nicer or more eager to make his guests feel at home. He welcomed us with tea... More

My friend and I recently spent 10 days in Morocco and on a 3 day stretch down to Todra Gorge and Merzouga we spent one night here. It is the most lovely place, with amazing hospitality, great food, and insane views from the back balcony, including from the room we stayed in. It's very cold overnight in January and the... More

Hospitality and decoration make this a very pleasant place to stay and chill. I even felt a bit like home. I had the impression that every detail of the house was placed with much dedication and love, that I had not seen in other marocan accommodation before. The food, service, music (cd's & live music) were very good. The location... More

We loved pur stay at this lovely, relaxed en homely (and clean) maison d'hote with several very nice rooms, fantastic (roof)terraces, nice desert blues music and the BEST food cooked by the wonderful (and funny) owner Hamid and his wife. What a nice place! Wouldn't have minded staying longer...!

Great hospitality and food with an amazing view and in a really lovely little riad. We were well looked after and felt at home from the moment we arrived and extended our stay because we enjoyed the place so much. Walks to the gorge and strolls through the palmery are beautiful. Favourite place in Morocco. Thanks Hamid!

We found this amazing place were driving back from Todra gorge on the lookout for somewhere to eat. Its colourful yellow facade and the promise of amazing views caught our eye and I'm so pleased it did! We went through a delightful ciurtyard room full of beautiful trinkets and emerged onto a fantastic terrace with truly breathtaking views. In every... More

We have found this Riad recommended by a road trip traveller (like us) on internet one month before coming in Morrocco. It was just awesome. We are a couple from France/Canada, we had the most beautiful room in the Riad. Service: The owner was really nice with us, he indicates us where to go for a ride in palm trees,... More
