An amazing place to visit! Surrounded by towering rocks in a gorge with a beautiful little river in front of you. Ask Nasseem to take you round La Palmeraie in the morning sunshine. See a Berber community at work in this enormous and pretty oasis. Okay the rooms are far from luxurious - but this is real Morocco! And we... More

We had lunch here one day on a 2 day trip. Suspicion was aroused when no menu was provided – just our driver saying the kofta (meatballs) were good. He was clearly embarrassed at the price of the meal (120 dirhams a head) compared to the quality. He had expected the cost to be about 80 dirhams which was at... More

we were there for one night, in a trip in south morocco in 12/2012 .. we appreciated, also because it was only one night we had spent there dont look about comfort and luxury as in Marrakech hotels, this is very different .. better see it as an adventure .. positive points : - The landscape, very wild ambient !!!... Good location at the foot of the Todra Gorge but the basic nature of the hotel came as a shock after staying in much nicer places. But accounting for the budget tariff the rooms were at least clean. The main problem was the heating provided was a open burner attached to a propane bottle! Not wanting to be poisoned we... More

Located between the high cliff walls of the todra gorge in a cluster of lodgings, this hotel was already visibly from the outside the worst pick. We came here as part of a Geckos tour, so had no choice but thank goodness just one night here. The towels are small old dirty rags that seemed more appropriate for shining shoes... More

This hotel/kasbah was probably the best one of my 12 days across Morocco. The location is very nice (Todra Gorge) and inside the hotel looks very clean and it has a typical Maroccan style. I also had dinner and breakfast there and both were good. The quality/price is very good, if you are able to negotiate the price! I will... More

This hotel is delightful, it is in the Troda Gorge which is an excellent place for going on walks, it is also near many wonderful places. The rooms are in good condition and the food is exceptionally good. The rooms are on the roof of the building and are located around a communal socializing zone, there is an even further... More

Stayed here as part of a group, and on arrival was smitten with the location - perched under a sheer rock face. We were lucky enough to have a river view - the rock ones were apparently rather bleak. The room was being redecorated, so was partially painted, and the nylon carpet was lifting in places - rather grubby and... More

I stayed here with my husband and son as part of a Family Adventure Company tour. The room was pretty small and basic and the bathroom was pretty grim. There was no air conditioning and our window faced the rock. There were numerous changes in levels and low ceilings on the stairs which made it quite difficult not to trip... More

Blech. This place sucked. I knew it was budget (we asked Blue Men to rework our itinerary to bring down costs) but it was truly bad, well, except the food. The room was freezing cold and didn’t have the normal electric heating element but rather a gas cylinder that had an element that had to be lit then turned off... More
