The staff is globally nice and quite professional although service is sometimes slow and they tend to forget food items (rice, vegetables, salt, pepper, etc.) They should inform tourists better on what there is to see around the hotel (other beaches and interesting spots). We have spent 4 nights at the Cotton bay Hotel in Rodrigues and for our first time there it is the best place to stay. The food is great, the beach is private and totally yours. The hotel/resort is located at the opposite end of the island to the airport so transfer was about 30 minutes.
