Stayed 3 nights at the hotel while in Bahir Dar for a meeting. The room I was in was in the newer building and was good sized. I was happy that the air conditioner worked all the time as the weather was quite hot. The choice of TV channels was limited and the wifi connections wee every poor in the... More

I stayed here with friends last year. The accommodation was good with working hot shower, TV with good reception and comfy bed with mosquito net. There was the added bonus of a fridge. The room was huge for one person. Breakfast was included and had a great selection of food. Service was very slow so if you're in a hurry... More

This hotel is in Bahir Dar (Ethiopia). Rooms are very clean. Staff is good and friendly. However you will feel something is missing in terms of coordination and services. Still can be recommended for a days stay. A budget hotel.

Ethiopia wiring has no need to be perfect. But when the water heater plug in the bathroom sparks furiously as you plug it in, and the bathroom light hangs off the fitting bound up with insulating tape, you got to wonder how much the management really cares. Its a pleasant enough hotel, but a long way off to the West... More

I stayed for 2 weeks at Homeland. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean, not to mention the hotel is kept in very good condition. I would be sure to stay again if I revisit Bahir Dar. The hotel is located on the outer edge of Bahir Dar but there are lots of bajajs (taxis) available from the hotel and... More

My room in the annex part of the hotel was very well appointed and clean. it's only been open for 90 days and is not yet banged up. The hot water lasted the whole visit. The WIFI worked indoors and out. Nice courtyard to while away in comfort. Fridge, flat screen TV (long live Dubai1). Nice place to stay, on... More
