Here is Not "Blue Nile Resort Hotels", but ”Blue Nile Hotel" where is city central. The room was pretty good and was clean. However, I can not keep my indignation in. I was ripped off at the hotel. - Private transport from BHR to BlueNileFalls, - Lake Tana public boat trip, - Public minibus from BHR to GDR Total price... More

This hotel promises more than it can offer. It is quite old and unfashionable, the WiFi rarely works, and there is nothing nice or special about it. The staff tries to be friendly but are to eager to please, so they tend to get it your way. The reception boy started knocking my door at 7am to tell me about... More

We were on a Dragoman overland tour of Northern Ethiopia. While on the tour we experienced a variety of hotels. Some with dodgy plumbing and others with furniture that appeared to have come off second best with an angry guest . The Blue Nile had the best customer service. The manager led from the front and nothing was too much... More

We stayed at this hotel twice during our recent visit to Ethiopia and found it very comfortable and clean both times. A short walk from the lake and shopping areas, the location is great. Free wi-fi and a good free breakfast are included. Rooms are a decent size and all have outside balconies. Our only complaint is there was no... More

Spacious rooms with balcony over Tana lake, large bathroom with bath, International TV's, free excellent Wifi connection, great food for breakfast but also for dinner. This is from far the best hotel we stayed in during our 15 days Ethiopian tour! A very good address on a gorgeous place. Highly recommended!

The Blue Nile hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. It is walking distance from the lake (7 minutes). I stayed in room 408 . It is clean and cozy. The bathroom had a large sink, hot water shower, toilet had a spray gun . The housekeeping staff can do your laundry as well for a small fee. Paid... More

I've had much worse in Africa and I've had much better. Firstly, there's a resort Blue Nile and this place conveniently called the Blue Nile too and they're different worlds. There's nothing horrific about the hotel, just that it certainly isn't a western style hotel. There's no A/C or fan, the bed sheets aren't that comfortable nor the pillows, people... More

So let me start off by saying this room was really cheap. They answered my email request for a room and had the reservation when we arrived. They do have an airport shuttle with a guy who is ready to sell you some day trips. Because we had limited time here, we agreed to the Blue Nile Falls and then... More

Dear Sir /Madam I wanted to apologize to you for the bad service you received the day when you visited Blue Nile hotel. I am disgusted by waiter's treatment of you as a customer. We strongly believe that the customer comes first and that customer service is vital, so it saddened me when you shared that on tripe advisor treated... More
