I didn't expect too much of any hotel in Keren but the Sarina was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, food is good and the bar area great to relax and have a drink and a chat. Service is rather slow, both in the restaurant and when checking out, but unless you're in a real rush... More

I love Keren. It is a jewel. The journey from Asmara is like a trip through the pages of National Geographic. The hotel provides much needed comfort and coolness. The balconies attached to the rooms are an unexpected bonus - the standard rooms are spacious, clean, and have great showers, so the deluxe rooms must be amazing. I would definitely... More

The hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean surface. Each room has a bathroom with a private hot water boiler. The furniture is in deplorable condition and the rooms could do with a renovation. Unfortunately, I had dropped a pen down, so I had to look under the bed. There was swarming with dust bunnies and... Clean, quiet, good food, nice staff, what esle could you ask in keren! A little bit far from the city center by the way. They do not wash the underwears at the hotel, first time I have the experience of getting back my underwears at the reception!

Driving up to this hotel your hopes are raised by its scale and impressive appearance. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. Inside, the rooms are pretty minimal and the use of cheap materials and fittings means that the place is already beginning to show its age. The beds are big and reasonably comfortable, but otherwise rooms are uninviting. Service... More

Generally clean (with some small bugs) and comfortable, the atmosphere in this hotel felt strangely deserted - maybe we were just unlucky. Although reasonably modern and well designed, the food (think tough meat) and plumbing (think small leaks everywhere) were inconsistent. If you are coming this far off the beaten track, you don't necessarily expect facilities to be this good... More

The Italian restrant named Risotto Italian Restaurant at Sarina is one of the best Italina Restaurant in Dhaka. Most Italian restaurants in Dhaka don't know how to cook pasta. They can't distinguish between pasta and Chinese noodles. The servises of wine such as mannars and temparture were good.

The Sarina had comfortable beds, was quiet, and clean. The downsides were - it is 2 km out of town, which means you can't just wander out for a drink or a meal or just a walk, but have to depend on taxis or walking the (not very interesting) journey into Keren. Of course the hotel can't do anything about... More
