Loved our stay at this campground, 10minute drive from everything. It was extremely quiet even though there were families with young kids. We stayed 2 nights, the service was great, the bathrooms were a little dirty but it's a campground you can't expect luxury. I'd definitely come here again!!!

My husband and I wanted to spend a small weekend getaway together and decided to go camping. We chose Hearthstone because it is only 2.5 miles from the village of Lake George. We were able to camp at night and ride our bikes into the village during the day! The campsite neat and well maintained! The showers were some of... More

We had a great family trip to Hearthstone Point in June. I am thankful we were in one of the top sites on the lake side, because the rest are on a pretty steep hill. My kids love to bike (allll day) while we are camping and the hills limited them to just our flat loop. We didn't take a... More

My husband and I have been going to this camp grounds for about 22 years, we love it here. We have looked at other places for camping but always come back here in the end. Each site is wooded, great for both campers and tents. There is not electric or water hookups so that might be a draw back for... More

My wife and I go here 1 a year or so. We always stay on the non-lake side. It is nice and wooded and the bathrooms are close. The day use areas are very nice. The Trolly stops right out front to bring you right to Lake George Village. I have heard that this camp ground can get rowdy on... More

The campground is right on the lake, and our campsites, though on the other side of 9n, were spacious and private. We weren't far from restrooms or showers and probably only a quarter mile walk from the beach. The beach is not huge, and was crowded but clean. We were huge fans of the firewood truck that comes around at... More

I went with about 19 others including 6 kids, and we had a great time unlike previous reviewers we had no issues with rangers telling us to be quiet, we weren't overly loud but we were never quiet. The bathrooms were clean which was great and even though you can technically only have 6 people per campsite, it wasn't like... More

The campground is located on the southern tip of lake George, about 5-10 minutes north from the Village of Lake George. It offers big clean sites, that you can unfortunately register only up to 6 people on. The bathrooms and shower rooms are ones of the good ones I've come across. They also have a beach, which isn't big but... More

Hearthstone point campground is one of the best bargains you'll find in the lake George village area. It was a pleasant and relaxing memorial holiday when I stayed. Very quiet and well guarded. Facilities were clean and well kept for a state facility. It has access to the lake on one side and forest on the other. Beautiful area. Only... More
