I booked the Taho through Hotels.com. I requested a kingsized bed. I called the Tahoe 3 times b4 our arrival to make sure we had a king size bed, they always said yes. On the day of, I called around 12pm to make sure we got a kingsize bed and they said no!!! I was upset but after about 20... more

The Tahoe is located outside of noisy Lake George Village, but it is conveniently located within a few minutes' drive of many restaurants. The rooms were clean; the check-in easy. We were able to travel to interesting points up and down the lake easily along Route 9N. The staff was pleasant; the pool clean. Just be aware that everything looks... more

This hotel was probably built in the 1950's, so lots of concrete, which makes the rooms a bit damp/humid but very sound proof. We didn't hear our neighbours once, beside or below. The door wasn't sealed very well, so we heard more noise from teh pool, but it closed at 10pm so that was fine. At first I was irritated... more

The place is very run down and the rooms are not clean. We had mildew on the shower curtain- We planned on a 3 day get away but checked out after the first night. the office employees were sympathetic and tried to change our room but the new room smelled of cigarettes and was dirtier than the first. That was... more

We booked this room online at the last minute. Even though they did not have the paperwork by the time we got there, they gave us a fabulous room with a wonderful view of Lake George. It was spotless and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The room included a microwave and a fridge. There was a pool on... more

What a weekend!! After booking the Howard Johnson's Tiki Honeymoon Suite and being quite disappointed (lakeside means parking lot to them, the tub was too small and grimmy, and non-smoking means nothing)... We went down the street to the Red Carpet Inn Tahoe. Big difference! The room was clean, smelled great and the view spectacular! The price was even better...... more

This motel is horrible. Rooms smell like urine and have bugs everywhere. The manager is rude and useless. Pool looks as though it has never been cleaned. Does not have any amenities to qualify as a resort and does not have the amenities listed on the website. This place is a major health hazard. For the same price you can... more

We had a great time at the hotel, the room was clean, it did not smell. The pool was great, the view was amazing. I don't know why people complain about the beach...this is a lake not the ocean!!! The beach was clean, there were plenty of chairs, my daughter loved it. We will stay here every time we visit... more
