This hotel was probably built in the 1950's, so lots of concrete, which makes the rooms a bit damp/humid but very sound proof. We didn't hear our neighbours once, beside or below. What a weekend!! After booking the Howard Johnson's Tiki Honeymoon Suite and being quite disappointed (lakeside means parking lot to them, the tub was too small and grimmy, and non-smoking means nothing)... This motel is horrible. Rooms smell like urine and have bugs everywhere. The manager is rude and useless. Pool looks as though it has never been cleaned. We had a great time at the hotel, the room was clean, it did not smell. The pool was great, the view was amazing. I don't know why people complain about the beach...this is a lake not the ocean!!!
