We just returned home from a last minute quick getaway to lake George . We are a family of four with two young children (6&4) . We booked with tea island and couldn't have been happier with our choice . The staff is super friendly and accommodating , especially Joanne !! They have a nice playground which is great if... More

Thank you very much for noticing some of the hard work that went on during the off season. Although work is still in progress, we are excited about the upgrades. And yes, Joanne is both helpful and knowledgeable so we are happy to have her at Tea island front desk. Looking forward to you next visit! More

My husband and I loved Tea Island for a quick getaway to celebrate his birthday. The rooms were recently renovated (including the bathroom), and we had a beautiful view of the Lake (Chalet Room 11). There were a few minor things that needed attention (light switch was not working, coffee machine plug did not reach the outlet), but we chalked... More

We were traveling through Lake George and decided to check out a couple resorts for our 2015 summer family get-away. After visiting many of the resorts, we chose Tea Island for our upcoming vacation. We are very excited to spend time at this beautiful location with an outstanding view. The owners were very kind and spent time showing us all... More

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here a few extra days when the very nice hotel we previously were at had a private function and could not accommodate us. This was a most pleasant surprise,,, the grounds and beauty of the facility was just what we were seeking as a third honeymoon. The staff took care of us in... More

This was our first stay in Tea Island. The location on Lake George is excellent, with a view of the lake and short distance to town. The owners were also very hospitable, beginning with an email they sent and a warm welcome upon our arrival. The room was pretty clean, and the beds were good. But the bathroom needed attention.... Fantastic weekend getaway to Lake George. This is just the perfect spot! You are close enough to the village (1 mile) yet far enough away to experience the tranquility and beauty that is Lake George. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great sandy beach. A playground for the kids. Badminton, volleyball, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Complimentary access to paddle boats, kayaks and canoes.... More

We loved it. From the free kayaks, amazing view and great fire pit..we had a blast. The beds we very comfortable as well. It could use some upgrades in the bathroom and new carpet but overall great bang for the buck. We will be back.

Small place, 18 rooms, bathroom is terrible. view outside over looking lake, but the walk to the small beach is hard, all uphill, etc. Owner, very nice but also need to drive into town. No pool and I would not recommend it

My family of 4 visited Aug '13. The resort is beautiful, with a swimming area, paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, and row boat, hot tub, playground, deck, and fire pit, all of which we enjoyed! Sure, the rooms are outdated; however, we are low maintenance, and found the service and setting overshadows this by far. During our stay, a rowdy bachelorette... More
