My girlfriend and I decided to stay here a few extra days when the very nice hotel we previously were at had a private function and could not accommodate us. This was a most pleasant surprise,,, the grounds and beauty of the facility was just what we were seeking as a third honeymoon. The staff took care of us in... More

This was our first stay in Tea Island. The location on Lake George is excellent, with a view of the lake and short distance to town. The owners were also very hospitable, beginning with an email they sent and a warm welcome upon our arrival. The room was pretty clean, and the beds were good. But the bathroom needed attention.... Fantastic weekend getaway to Lake George. This is just the perfect spot! You are close enough to the village (1 mile) yet far enough away to experience the tranquility and beauty that is Lake George. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great sandy beach. A playground for the kids. Badminton, volleyball, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Complimentary access to paddle boats, kayaks and canoes.... More

We loved it. From the free kayaks, amazing view and great fire pit..we had a blast. The beds we very comfortable as well. It could use some upgrades in the bathroom and new carpet but overall great bang for the buck. We will be back.

Small place, 18 rooms, bathroom is terrible. view outside over looking lake, but the walk to the small beach is hard, all uphill, etc. Owner, very nice but also need to drive into town. No pool and I would not recommend it

My family of 4 visited Aug '13. The resort is beautiful, with a swimming area, paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, and row boat, hot tub, playground, deck, and fire pit, all of which we enjoyed! Sure, the rooms are outdated; however, we are low maintenance, and found the service and setting overshadows this by far. During our stay, a rowdy bachelorette... More

My wife and I recently spent a week in room (6) great layout with the bedroom separate "well needed to keep the sunlight out". The room was well kept each and everyday by a great cleaning team. Phill" was very treating each day with plenty of smiles. Water pressure was very iffy at times, but got the job done. Wish... More

Rented a room from July 26 to July 29th 2014.I traveled with my husband and two children. The room was decent and clean. We stayed in room 11 which provided us with a spectacular view of the lake! My two boys enjoyed the easy accessibility to the beach and water. The staff especially Joanne was extremely nice and accommodating. The... More

Recently stayed at this hotel for my wedding anniversary - paid $250 for the night! For that price I expect the room to be clean and not smell like sewer. When I complained and asked for air fresheners or something - they came in and just turned the bathroom fan on which was too loud to leave on all night.... More
