Stayed in the "Fountainview Room" which literally overlooks a small white fountain. The property itself was gorgeous. The resort has a fire pit about three feet from the lake itself and provides newspaper, kindling wood, and actual firewood. There were ample chairs as well as a small BBQ area and a small beach. The resort is tucked away behind the... More

If you are looking for a very attractive, well kept area away from (but yet close enough) to the downtown area of Lake George, this is the place. There are beautiful views of the lake from just about anywhere one the property. Our Lakeside room was clean, comfortable and had a very nice kitchenette. I enjoyed sitting on the porch... More

Been vacationing in lake George for 20+ years....this is a surprise on the quiet side of the lake. Beautiful grounds, well kept rooms, great family establishment. I traveled from Ct with my 4yr old son and two retired parents... Something for everyone. Overall I prefer the lakeside units over the main house . great if you have or plan on... More

This was a second stay at the Antigua this Summer. What stunning views! My husband and I much prefer the east side or the "quiet" side and beautiful sunsets. We stayed in the Fountain Room this time. Small room with a queen size bed, full bath, and mini kitchen. This room is pretty comparable to the Bayview.. But has a... More

Great place - everything about the resort - size is perfect, very clean, great swimming beach, great location. Owners very nice and helpful. Stayed in Lakeside Suites, close to lake and everything around resort - East side of the lake is really special - and very close to town if you need anything.

I would stay here again, but not for a few years. Guess I'm a self-proclaimed west side lake lover. I say that for a couple reasons. We primarily stay in Diamond Point or Bolton Landing, and the no-wake buoys are well outside the beach swimming areas which calm down the chop so you can float and not get knocked down... More

Can't figure out why they call this a resort? No personal amenities-bring your own shampoo, lotion, shower cap, tissues, clock, hairdryer, had to request bar soap. No housekeeping, or fresh towels. Few updates in past decade. Furniture 1960's flea market. Boathouse has comfortable seating for 2. Bathroom way too small. Grounds have poor walkways. The worst part though was surly innkeepers... This is probably one of the nicest settings I have seen of all resorts in the area. They truly have the "million dollar view". From every angle of the property, it is a picture of Heaven of the Lake. The owners of the property are very kind and helpful and seem very laid back and enjoy running their property. They... More

We stayed at this hotel for Labor Day weekend 2014. We truly enjoyed the location and grounds. However, we first met the owner a few hours after checking in when we went to ask for help for two kids who were stranded on a canoe on the lake. During the 20 minutes encounter, his only concern was that he didn't... More

We have read this review and believe there is some misinformation. Here at the Antigua Resort we pride ourselves on not overcrowding our rooms and grounds and above all the safety of our guests is paramount. This guests reserved a room for 4 people and checked in with 6 people and only told us about one extra person. Shortly after... More

Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for 10 years in a row. The best views on the lake, very laid back atmosphere. Craig, Annie and Max are super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful beach, gas grills throughout the property and campfires on the beach at night. A great way to recharge the batteries. We'll be coming back for many more... More
