Spent some time in the Hudson Valley area, and stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kingston. Surprisingly I ate in the restaurant and found the food superior to most restaurants...the room was clean, and the front desk staff took time when I had questions...Thank you more

Was tough finding a room in the area on valentines day weekend. previous reviews gave marginal accounts of the Holiday Inn but I had no choice. My check-in was quick and easy, room was nice, average in furnishings, most importantly clean. Restaurant on site had a nice breakfast 10.95/person, place was packed but ample food. As is usually the case... more

Went online and booked the Winter special for this hotel ($189 for two nights) for a ski vacation. The location was ideal, just off of I-87, making it easy to get to Kingston, nearby Woodstock, as well as the ski resorts of Belleayre and Hunter. There's also lots of shopping nearby to stock up on amenities. The room itself was... more

I stayed here for a night while driving thru the area. (right off the NYS Thruway) The hotel is an older Holiday Inn. The room itself was on the small side and the bathroom as well. The shower was fantastic, and had the newer Holiday Inn shower head. The beds and linens were in need of updating, as well as... more

I almost always stay at the Holiday Inn since I am a Priority Member. Our room was nice, but could have used some updating. The property was maintained, but might need to be done in the future. The staff could not have been nicer - very accomodating. Only problem was a noisy and obnoxious neighbor. At first they smoked in... more

We stayed overnight on our way to the nearby outlet village (two junctions away on the I87). Room was ok, nice size, clean enough and very close to I87 - so from that point of view was great - just can't imaging staying there any longer than 1 night though, hotel just didn't have a great feel to it, nothing... more

My family stayed at this hotel for a weekend. While it is superior to the Motel 8 next door, it is still a modest, budget hotel, unfortunately at an upscale price. In this part of Kingston, there are few options and certainly none that would wow a sophisticated traveler. Unlike some other reviewers, we found the hotel clean and observed... more

We booked two rooms as it was Labour Weekend Sunday and we were travelling through NY. The rooms were not cheap. The staff were pleasant but the rooms were dirty and so were the corridors - in fact the whole place needs some redecoration and new carpets. Both oor rooms were dirty - my friend even found a dirty old... more

I stayed at this property for five nights from July 27-August 1. I was attending a workshop at the Omega Institute with Brian Weiss (Past Life Regression Therapy) and this was the closest hotel (17 miles) I could find that was pet friendly. It was right off Rte. 199 and the Thruway so it was convenient. It is your typical... more

Just before I left to stay in this hotel, I thought to check trip advisor, and I was FREAKED about what appeared to be a cockroach infestation problem. I was tremendously relieved that our room was both clean and roach-free. I have two kids, 6 and 2, and the pool was the highlight of their weekend away (there is a... more
