A Kingston B&B is in a quiet area of the town on the edge of both the historical area & several run-down "iffy" areas. The house is deceptive from the outside & is quite lovely & very clean in the inside. Our room had very unique original bath in great condition. Breakfasts are large, home made & delicious.

My husband and I recently visited with another couple, and we couldn't have been more pleased. It is located a short walk from the Old Dutch Church, and the surrounding neighborhood is filled with historic and unique home. The house has been lovingly restored, the rooms are well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. We had three fantastic breakfasts... More

My sister and I had a wonderful time during our two-night stay at A Kingston B&B. It was just what we were looking for: a charming, clean B&B offering a large bedroom with two separate beds and and en suite bathroom -- two things which are very hard to find in B&B's especially in the Hudson River Valley. It's located... More

Beautifully restored 1870's B&B a few minutes walk from uptown Kingston. Alicia is a friendly warm innkeeper who is knowledgeable about the area and also a great cook. Rooms are perfectly clean and well appointed with period furnishings. A great choice for our 3night stay in the area to travel to Rhinebeck, Hyde Park and other historic areas on both... More

My wife and I stayed here with another couple for three days and couldn't be more pleased. The restored Victorian home is fantastic and the owner is delightful. Breakfasts were awesome. The owner was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history of the area. The house is a short walk to the historic area of Kingston. Absolutely no complaints. We... More

We were not intending to stay over in Kingston but we were tired and didn't feel like driving back to the city. We called 'A Kingston Bed & Breakfast b/c it looked amazing and it was located in a great neighborhood (Stockade district). Alicia (the caretaker) was very accommodating for a last minute reservation and accepted us staying a single... More

First, let me say that there were a couple of little things that would help make the B&B closer to perfect: an ice bucket with a top in each room, so that one could have both a preprandial and also a postprandial drink without needing the proprietor to be available each time. And the air conditioner was the source, mostly,... More

A frequent Kingston visitor, I always opt to stay at A Kingston Bed and Breakfast. Owner Alicia, ever gracious, goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. The well-appointed guest rooms are comfortable, offering the perfect place for an evening of relaxation. Breakfasts are delicious, having included Eggs Benedict, Belgian Waffles, fresh fruit, and homemade scones. As a... More

First of all I realized that it is VERY important to give an accurate assessment of lodging because this B&B had such a wonderful rating we were excited to get there. Wow can you imagine the disappointment we experienced when we arrived in a run down "historic" district and could not believe the outside of the B&B. I went in... More

I am genuinely surprised to see that this recent guest was so disappointed with both my establishment and with the service provided, particularly as I had gone out of my way to accommodate this guests last- minute schedule changes and requests. These guests had booked their reservation via booking.com back in April for a July mid- week visit of three... More

I usually opt for the Marriott chain of hotels and decided to go outside the box as the Courtyard was near a strip mall. I wanted to stay somewhere in the Hudson Valley that gave a better "feel"of the area and I couldn't have selected a better place to stay. This B & B was perfectly located to explore the... More
