We frequently visit Kingston to see family and this place is a perfect place to stay. There is plenty of space to stretch out and relax in this restored apartment. The painted tin ceilings are magnificent... and it was fun to imagine what life was like back when the building was built 100 years ago. Parking right outside your door... More

Thank you for your feedback. Schwartz's Inn was the home my husband Joe grew up in. We have restored this historic building (which dates from the 1700's and has been in our family for 98 years) for people to stay and enjoy the many opportunities Kingston and the neighboring communities provide. The basics and more were handled fine in this space, but still some big drawbacks. the pluses -- nice bed, very clean, a lot of space, including kitchenette with sitdown table, stove & refrigerator, and nice clean bathroom. the minus - an odd layout, dark lighting, just this side of dingy. (It... More

I, being the consummate procrastinator, couldn't find accommodations in a regular hotel for a wedding. It seemed that there were several big events planned this weekend in Kingston. I came to Trip Advisor and looked here. I called The Schwartz's Inn after reading the good reviews. Joe was wonderful in handling everything and made sure everything ran smoothly. The accommodations... More

My mother and her husband were visiting a couple of summers ago for a couple of weeks and did not want to feel on top of us by staying in our guest room that long. So we found this option for them. I had heard of it through friends and I know the owners, who are as nice as can... More

We met friends from New Jersey and stayed in the two-bedroom suite and would do it again in a heartbeat! The Inn was cozy, inviting, very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. All 4 of us loved it...

We stayed here one night for a visit to area. The web site implies that there is a one-room option and a two-room suite. In actuality, it is a two-room suite on the second floor of the owner's business in a quiet area (historic district?) of Kingston. Apparently they can block off one of the rooms to make the two-room... More
