We've attended several conferences here and were quite satisfied with the accommodations and the various venues. The scenery is spectacular, both getting there and when you arrive. Our room was showing signs of aging, but was clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety and plenty to accommodate our vegetarian regimen. The staff is great and very... Nothing works and it is falling apart. Everything needs maintenance. From the room door to the elevators to the wifi to the ..... just everything. It's just been sold to a Chinese firm and maybe they'll fix it up but for now ..,, it's a rip off for sure. The whole area is fairly depressed. Might have been better to... More

This place is in need of a major makeover. It is grimy, smells of humidity as son as you wanlk in, and falling apart all over! The rooms are dirty, the furniture is falling apart and needs replacing, and the rugs need to be vaccuumed! The beds have never been moved, or so it seems, from the accummulation of dust... More

Stayed for a business conference, The Room was clean, the staff courteous. The location is just a few minutes from Ellenville which now has some superb restaurants downtown. The View of the Mountains was relaxing. I would certainly stay here again, even on leisure travel.

We went for a workshop weekend and the place is very nice when you enter. The dining area would be large enough for a wedding reception or awards banquet. The front desk was courteous, but they were very short handed with check in of visitors. Our bedroom was totally no frills. It was unappealing and the bathroom needed repairs and... More

Look, I knew I wasn't getting five star luxury when I booked this, but I guess I was pretty surprised when we arrived. As most of the other reviews say, the hotel is pretty run down and tired - I'm sure it was great in its day. Also, the breakfast that was included was packed! There were queues for food... More

Stayed here for a conference. My first visit. As I said, I wish I could say something about this place that would be flattering about my experience here, but I can't. It is shabby and worn out all the way around, and I did read that from other reviews so I didn't expect much going in. However, here is what... More

I'm sure that 50 years ago this place was absolutely beautiful and a great vacation destination, however, today, this place needs a huge face lift. Our room was clean, but very dated. The carpeting throughout the entire hotel is dirty and stained. The elevator seemed like it was going to break at any moment (and there was not an inspection... More

Creppy, musty, barely staffed, inefficient, why is this place even open! Sandy, at the front desk was as nice as could be, but I simply could not stay there! It was flat out scary! Everything looks worn out & tattered & dilapitated & EMPTY! Everything else in area was booked, so I took a chance @ Hudson in spite of dreadful reviews. But... More

I'm sure that in its heyday, this resort was a fine place indeed. These days, it seems a little lackluster and old-fashioned. Perhaps that's exactly why I found it very charming. Staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. Unfortunately, they have to charge extra for everything. Even a cup of coffee was an additional fee. Fortunately, the initial charge for the... More
