I had a not great experience here. I was told that I would get a partial refund and finally after several weeks I have been given a partial credit. Wish it was done more promptly and with less encouragement by me. This must have been a great place when it was new, unfortunately it could use upgrading and cleaning.

Condition is just as everyone else here describes. When I arrived 9:30pm with lots of luggage I was told there was no bellhop service, but: "there are wagons over there, and please bring it back when you're done". Elevator system is woefully slow, and upon leaving there were no bellhop wagons available, hence having to drag hundreds of pounds of... More

I AM SORRY TO SAY ... it's not worth it. Children running around till all hours of the night up and down stairways and jumping and hanging from stairways. Doors with no locks. Sinks that the water Valves where shout off because they leaked when turned on. Musty Wet smell. BLACK MOLD in the air conditioner UNITS and mold on... More

I recently attending a wonderful convention, The North American Jewish Choral Festival where we stayed at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa. It was supposed to "newly renovated", and fortunately I stayed in that section of the resort. The resort itself, in its day, must have been magnificent. The grounds are amazing and the location in the middle of the mountains... More

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa. It is true that the Hotel needs some updating but the wonderful staff, the great food and the beautiful grounds made up for those shortcomings. For the very reasonable package price that everyone paid for this fabulous weekend, it was well worth it. This... More

I stayed here in July for the the North American Jewish Choral Festival. First--the good news! Every staff member I encountered was pleasant, efficient, and helpful, including the office/front desk staff, the cleaning staff, and the wait staff in the dining room. Also, my room was great, with furnishings, carpets, and air-conditioning in great condition. (And the location is GORGEOUS!)... More

We spent 5 days here for a family reunion. Our group had a private dining area for breakfast and dinner. The food was wonderful and there was more than enough of everything. Our waiters were extra helpful and my coffee cup did not stay empty for long! Our whole group was on the 7th floor and all of the rooms... More

Every year I attend the North American Jewish Choral Festival at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa. The good news: the staff is cheerful, helpful and eager to please. The housekeeping staff cleans the rooms and common areas as best they can given what's there. The bad news: even the "updated" rooms are moldy, soiled, depressing. Every chair and couch... More

The staff at this hotel is great, however that is where the positive experience ends. My room had a gross, musty smell, there was a large dead bug on my bathroom floor, wallpaper was peeling and stained and the beds were very uncomfortable. Oh and it was freezing and I only had one small blanket. I made the mistake of... More

Where to begin... I'll start with the positive: Great water pressure (that is, if you don't mind standing in a disgusting bath tub to enjoy it). After reading the reviews, you might be tempted to think, "Oh, it can't be THAT bad; I'll try it and see for myself." DON'T DO IT. The reviews are true: This hotel is filthy,... More
