Arrived at 9 pm in the dark. Motel looks like it was abandoned. Got keys to the room at the campsite office which was closed. The rooms were small and not clean. Musty smell in the rooms. Woke up with severe headache which ruined my next day. Bathrooms were worse than most camping bathrooms. Had to get 2 rooms because... More

I have traveled from the city to Canada a lot lately and my wife likes to try different motels on our way. This is a really cute, decent hotel. Price is right and management is super helpful unlike another hotel in Peru. So happy that the cable works, shower is hot, and carpets are clean a big pet pev of... More

While it's true that this motel is super convenient for its location near this attraction (the Ausable Chasm), there's not much to recommend it otherwise. Tiny rooms, rattling old AC window units, old TVs, older mattresses and linens, scary shower (tiny) with metal lining. It was clean enough, but tiny old towels and linens, and industrial carpet, chipping paint, etc.... More

Although the location is oustanding in relation to Ausable Chasm and hiking, the rooms were disgusting. New furniture, terrible mattresses, very old bathrooms, smell of smoke and small rooms. AC units full of mold. Difficult to believe that management can't invest a small amount of money per room to clean up the rooms. The positive side was the location and... More

Given the expectation that this is a campy bare bones motel, you can't get a location that's closer to the chasm or more convenient. In 95 degree weather we had a/c, a clean bed, a refreshing shower, and a convenient place to chill out between activities. The room could use updating (there was rust in the shower and chipping tile.... More

First of all- the reason i chose this motel instead of the many others in the area was the pics of the adk log style furniture looked cozy and comfortable and the price per their website was $60/night. Apparently the price has gone up but the website doesnt reflect it... Althought they did honor the website price it seemed like... More

Stayed at the Ausable Chasm Motel becasue our RV was not available to bring. We were traveling with 4 other families who were staying in the Ausable Chasm Campground. Staying in the motel allows you the full use of the campground facilities including the pool. You also get to take advantage of discounts for the actual Ausable Chasm tourist attraction.... More

We were grateful to find this little motel near beautiful Ausable Chasm, NY. We were just stopping overnight and up early to leave. We only wanted a clean bed to sleep in. For the cheap rate it suited us just fine. Quiet and clean. A little retro, but quite liveable.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and affordable. I would suggest bringing a foam padding for the mattress. To be honest, we didn't try the bed out but once we sat on it, it seemed to be a little 'springy' so we went out and purchased an inexpensive padding. Our sleeps were great! We brought our own breakfast which we... More
