My husband and I recently stayed at the Snow Goose Bed and Breakfast for two nights. It was perfect for us. Located not far off the main highway, there are lots of hiking trails assessable right from the property. The hosts, Amy and Wayne, were most helpful in directing us to just the right trails for what we wanted to... More

My husband and I have recently ventured to the Adirondak area in hopes of finding property. We researched the web for a place to stay for 3 nights. The picture of this home was the first thing to impress us and the reviews matched what we were looking for. Upon arrival we were greeted by Amy (owner) with a warm... More

We enjoyed our stay here at The Snow Goose immensensley! The house was charming and Amy and Wayne were the perfect hosts. We came for a weekend of hiking and boy did we get that! There are trails galore all in close proximenty to the B&B and Amy and Wayne had great suggestions on which ones to hike. The breakfasts... More

We had a wonderful stay at the snow goose. It was in perfect proximity to whiteface for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing as well. Also an easy 20 minute drive to dinner out in Lake Placid. Wayne and Amy were great hosts with funny personal stories, good advice on winter sport spots and directions to any place we wanted to... More

I've stayed at a couple B&B's in the area and this is hands down the best. The house is very nice and has been kept up nicely. Some others in the area are pretty run down in my opinion but they have remodeled some to keep things updated and fresh. Breakfast is fantastic. We had some fun, interesting foods that... More

Our short stay in New York state whilst on a longer visit from England was very comfortable and relaxing. We came for the scenery of which there is plenty and the Autumn colours. We were made very welcome, the room was cosy and the homemade cooking at breakfast time was tasty. More

I'll just add to everyone else's positive reviews that I especially liked the foot bath they included in our room. It was great to soak my feet after a 5 hour hike in the rain! More

I've stayed at the Snow Goose B&B in Keene Valley twice now - once in the spring and once in the fall. The property is located in a beautiful part of the Adirondacks and offers great hiking right from the back yard. The Garden, a popular launching point for hiking several of the High Peaks, is literally right down the... More

Amy and Wayne have done a great job turning their home into a cozy B&B. Everything from the decor to the (absolutely delicious!) food is perfect for the mountain setting! When my husband and I visited, the little town had been devastated by hurricane Irene (literally the prior day). The Snow Goose, however, was untouched. We stayed in the Legacies... More
