We live in Johnstown, so we do not make use of the rooms. We do, however dine at the hotels restaurant. Saturday night we were hungry and we wanted something other than fast food and a more refined, quiet atmosphere than a bar restaurant. Johnstown's Holiday Inn was the perfect choice. We were seated promptly near the beautiful working fireplace... More

We stayed here last night and it was a pleasant experience. Quick check in and the room was great. Love the shower.... clean, good pressure and hot water. If we ever need to stay in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Decided to spend Valentine's Day at this hotel - weather was bad and it's close to home. The renovated rooms are lovely, quiet, and quite comfortable! The restaurant left a bit to be desired. The Valentine's day menu seemed slapped together at the last minute and our meals were ill-prepared and delivered cold. We found it interesting that the manager... More

In an area with not many good hotel options, this hotel stands out. It might stand out as excellent even in a more competitive market. It seems new, is very clean and modern looking, and has comfortable beds. There is a nice restaurant. To get to the guest rooms area, you need to swipe a room key which is good... More

Went here to do XC skiing which was only about a half hour away at Lapland Lake. The food was good, loved the French toast. It was valentine's weekend and dinner specials were delicious. Had the scallops with spinach.

I stayed here while visiting family. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable the pillows were awesome. ( i could use a few of those pillows for my house!) The bathroom was perfect. Along with the usual shampoo, conditioner and lotion was mouthwash a grooming kit(cotton balls, q-tips, nail file) and a small sewing kit. I went into... More

If you choose to stay here, make sure you tell the reservation line or the front desk any discounts you may have. 2 people in our party forgot to mention company discounts and AAA and the women at the front desk refused to honor them. They were very cold and told them that they would have to cancel their reservations.... More

This hotel is located in my hometown (at the southern gateway to the Adirondacks), recently rated as the most economically depressed in upstate NY. As such, the facility is a jewel in an area with very few lodging options, even in the mid-scale category. Have stayed there several times. Only problem we had was the lighting, confined to about 3... More

My Husband and I had a wedding to attend in Saratoga, and the Bride and Groom suggested we stay here, and we're happy we did! The room was very comfortable, and very clean! I cannot stand when you stay at a hotel, and they spray Febreeze around to cover up odors, it doesn't work, well this hotel had none of... More

I've traveled around the world, and this place has way more amenities than you'd expect from a comparable place. It's not luxurious, but it is clean. As in spotless. As in you can smell the bleach in the sheets. As in, if Thomas Eric Duncan had stayed here on his way to Dallas from Liberia, he probably would be alive... More
