Looked around online for a one day retreat for my wife and my anniversary. Stumbled across the Jedediah Hawkins Inn website and fell in love with the place. Called the Inn and spoke to the manager Colin. I asked if I booked a room could I have an early check in, he said no problem. So I decided to book.... More

My Fiance and I spent our Oct 4th wedding weekend in the Belvadere suite at the Jedediah Hawkins in. We got married at Macari Vineyards in Mattituck so the location was perfect! The Inn overall is spectacular and so was our suite! Felt like you were in a rustic farmhouse but with modern amenities. You could sleep 25 people comfortably... More

My husband and I just spent an incredible two days at Jedediah Hawkins Inn. As you approach this beautifully refurbished landmark you can see and feel its grandeur. Our room was absolutely perfect, spotless, comfortable bed, fireplace, lovely toiletries and very spacious. Breakfast was absolutey fit for a king and queen!! Yogurt, seasonal berries, granola, croissant and wonderful eggs and... More

As a frequent traveller I have been to Manhattan many times but have only recently heard about the wine country of the 'North Fork' Long Island where Jedediah Hawkins is situated (right in the middle so perfect for exploring vineyards). On every level we were impressed. The overall ambience of the property is grand; luxuriant and at once welcoming and... More

At the end of a beautiful day of farm stands and wineries, dinner at Jedediah Hawkins proved to be an absolute delight. After finding out we were celebrating our anniversary, the waitress brought over two glasses of champagne...and that was the start of an amazing meal. The soup was better than homemade, and our entrees exceeded our expectations. I hope... More

Had a wonderful 2nd stay at Jedidiah Hawkins. Lovely, tastefully renovated historic home. Food was excellent - had dinner and breakfast. New chef is doing excellent job. Staff was superb. Will definitely go again!

My wife and I drove out to Jamesport with some friends to spend the weekend at our cottage and decided to dine at the Hawkins Inn, having not been there in several years. From the moment we arrived our expectations were exceeded. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the front door and were told our table would be... More

This inn has it all......a helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, amenities, grounds, and a terrific restaurant. It was our first time here (for an anniversary celebration), and now it will be our tradition. The croissants at breakfast are heavenly..buttery,flaky and warm. The rest of the meal is hearty and healthy...greek yogurt and fresh berries, then the freshest eggs (from the... More

We stayed a few nights at this lovely grand mansion in the small village of Jamesport on Long Island. Great for staging your fall wine country experience or pumpkin hunting excursion. (Leave the kids at home!) Three course breakfast included fresh baked hot croissants, fresh fruits and yogurt with orange marmalade, and scrambled eggs with bacon, but it took a... More

My husband and I are very picky about hotels and restaurants, and we both were very impressed with our recent visit. We stayed in the Belvedere suite and never wanted to leave. The house and grounds were beautiful and the staff were top notch. Our dinner in the restaurant was the best of our whole trip to LI, as was... More
