We wanted an inexpensive stay as we had a long connection so did not want to spend a lot of money as basically we just wanted to sleep. Well this place is a total dump, the doors are steel ala staying in a prison block. The bathroom stunk, we had to keep the door closed it smelt so bad, my... more

This hotel is the worst ever! We made a reservation on another big website. The reviews on the site seem pretty good. Actually, there were no bad comments about this hotel. Plus, the price was tempting, which was about 90 dollars per night. In order to catch a flight the next morning, we chose this hotel because they offered free... more

Most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered; No one smiles, is interested, or gives a damn. The small entrance hall is usually crowded with male employees who stand and sit there, glowering sullenly at everyone who walks by. This is obviously a real unhappy place to work, and it is easy to see why after watching the incompetent Indian men... more

It's close to airport and that is the only adavantage it has.Nothing much around, not very well connected to city of New York when it comes to transportation. It is hotel only for those who are in transit and want to stay for night, and not for the traveller who wants to stay longer. It's cheaper hotel for the one... more

I stayed here on a layover on my way to Boston. I've travelled to the States before many times and never felt as threatened as when staying in this hotel. After a 24 hour flight I was exhausted. Surly staff met me at the counter, and I was shown the room which was basic but dated, and a bit smelly.... more

Arrived at shuttle pick-up at 2230 and was told that the 'free' shuttle finished at 2200, so we watched all the other hotel shuttles come and go. They sent a taxi to pick us up and said it would be $15. When we got to the hotel the driver told us it was $20. Room was over $110 for a... more

My sister stayed at the hotel and I tried to contact her. I called of and on for 2 1/2hours and still did not get an answer from the front desk to connect me to her room. It was an emergency. Those bad reviews ????? - well I don't think I'll be staying there either. more

The people at the front desk were friendly and professional, but the room we were given was very unappealing, with a run-down look and the faint smell of urine making it hard to sleep. more

After our flight was cancelled at 11pm, we were forced to stay here when every other JFK airport hotel was booked--due to cancelled flights. The staff was friendly, however that was the best part. Beds are like cardboard, towels like sandpaper, carpet stained. Elevator is not on ground level so you have to carry your luggage down the stairs...really ridiculous.... more
