We had a 6 AM flight out of JFK and live more then 2 hours away. I was looking for a hotel where we could stay the night and leave our car while we were away. The Hampton Inn was perfect. The room was very clean and nice and the staff was very attentive. Parking was tight but it was... More

We spent a few nights at this hotel. It was really great. The rooms were clean and the staff really kind and helpful. Breakfasts were self service and all one needed. It was close to JFK and they offered free transport to and from the hotel, which was a wonderful help! Jamaica turned out to be a most interesting area... More

We arrived after a long flight and headed to Federal circle to wait for the shuttle. The shuttle took a while to come, while other hotel shuttles came by frequently. Finally the shuttle arrived and we were on finally on the move to the Hotel Check in Check in was fine and quick so was the staff who served. She... More

After battling airport lines and an irate employee yelling at everyone, it was so nice to arrive at this hotel and be greeted by such a friendly desk clerk. She was informative as well with breakfast information and asked if we had eaten. We hadn't, so she directed us to the restaurant linked to the other hotel. She gave us... More

We had an overnight layover at JFK, and this hotel with its free breakfast and shuttle to and from the airport was ideal. It's a little pricy ($143), but it was a good value. The breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, and fruit.

Stopped here for a night on our way to London, and it was a miserable night. First, there was no hot water, which was explained by the front desk with "it should be available again around 10pm". It wasn't, so there was no shower that night - only in the morning. Then the fire alarm went off in the middle... More

I had a renovated room on the 8th floor, very nice but still with noisy heat and cooling as others have mentioned. Wasn't needed even though it was cold outside, must be well insulated. Rooms near elevator are noisy, ding from lift all night and ice and soda machine very noisy. Check prices with Hilton next door, was only $20-30... More

Great staff, a shuttle that picks you up at an AirTrain stop, clean room, and a hot breakfast. The hotel is great for an overnight stay if your travel plans include JFK. We did not try the restaurant, plenty of delivery menus are provided by the front desk staff upon asking.

This hotel is located on what I like to call "Hotel Row". It's on the higher end of the 3-star spectrum and it's my preferred hotel when in town. Over the past year, there has been great improvement in the guest rooms due to the ongoing renovations: Big, comfortable rooms with new décor (now featuring a fridge) and oversized bathrooms....
