Stayed twice at this hotel (oct 2008 and march 2009). It was cheaper than other hotels, the Indian staff was pretty friendly and spoke a good English. The rooms are confortable, the view is not too pleasant and nights can be pretty noisy, depending on which side of the building the room is. Being close to the subway is one... more

Good value for money, but a long way out of Manhattan (40 minutes by subway) and a rather rough-looking if safe neighborhood. Service was terrible. Maids didn't clean rooms, glasses or coffee pot, only made beds, and hotel would have kept their unannounced and unreceipted $50 cash only deposit if i hadn't demanded it back. Skip the breakfast bar and... more

We wanted/needed a hotel in NYC near JFK, that had easy access to/from the airport and Manhattan. I also require a fridge in the room when traveling, which the Ramada Queens had. Getting to/from JFK is an easy bus ride on the Q3, which you can catch outside terminal 4 at the airport. You'll need $2.25 in quarters, or a... more

All of the fixtures and furnishings appear fairly new, clean & well maintained. Being just one person, the somewhat smallness of the room was fine with me. The lobby and breakfast areas are also small, but there was always a table available for the breakfast. My room was on the fifth floor, directly facing a bus stop across the street.... more

We spend 5 nights in the hotel. It was ok to reach from JFK airport but relatively inconvenient to reach Manhattan (40 min min with subway). The surrounding of the hotel is definitely not the niced place in queens but we didn't feel insecure. There are a number of shops around the hotel covering basic needs. The rooms are ok... more

The Ramada Queens offers a comfortable room with comfortable beds, tv and fridge. The hotel is within walking distance to the metro and only a stone throw from Jamaica Avenue where quality bargains can be bought, however the quality of cleanliness is questionable, the area isn't great, and the staff isn't very helpful or friendly. more

This hotel is a nice option if you are not interested in spending loads of money on a place that you olny go to sleep for a few hours and take a shower. Though it is in Queens, it is very conveniently located close to subways which take you directly into downtown Manhattan in about 30 minutes. There is also... more

We wanted a hotel that was convenient to both JFK and NYC, and this was a good choice. The hotel is relatively new and on the corner of Hillside Ave. and 164th. If you want to get some fast food before getting to the hotel, the intersection of Hillside and Queens Blvd. were the only ones we could locate. The... more
