Was happy to find this rate for a motel in Ithaca - it's so expensive to stay there! Saw some positive reviews on Tripadivsor when I booked it and was even more encouraged. Unfortunately, I have to say, I agree more with the recent reviews (Aug 2009) which are not as favorable. The hallways smelled awful of deodorizer - the... more

So my daughter is going to Cornell, and we were looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay at when we dropped her off. (We are from out of state) First, I never thought I would pay what I paid for a Super 8, but the others were more. The carpet was grimy. I didn't want to walk barefooted in my... more

interior hallways stank of cigarette smoke even in the non-smoking section of the building. The room (non-smoking) was heavily de-odorized, we have to keep the window wide open all night. The single employee did his best, but we were not happy. Interesting that it was the same price as the Best Western in Batavia NY which was at least 1.5... more

We paid $85 in Aug 09 for a single queen room. Guy working at night wanted to charge us $100+ for the same room. Call during the day. Motel is in a good, central location. Breakfast is poor. Only cereal and bagels one day. Added some bananas and those awful pastries in plastic bags the next day. There are FIVE... more

Friendly staff, clean room, great location. Paid $80. Best Super 8 I've been in. The breakfast was plain but I was happy with a bagel and a banana! The staff made a good recommendation for dinner to us. Would definitely stay again. Room heater was a little hard to control otherwise I'd give than a 5 too. more

We returned today from a 4 night stay at the Super 8 in Ithaca, NY. We were visiting family who are expecting a baby any day. The staff (Regina, Angela, Alex and others) went out of their way to help us out and welcome us. Angela even gave us a ride to Walmart in her own car! The facility is... more

I loved our recent stay at the Super 8 in Ithaca! The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean. The positive reviews on tripadvisor were right! It is right in the city, so it was very close to everything. My daughter was visiting Ithaca College and it was very close. The clerks had maps and directions. There was... more

This hotel was adequate for my needs. We found our room to be clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay to visit Cornell University. The only problem was we were given a room on the 2nd floor and there was not an elevator. I recommend you request a 1st floor room if you have difficulty carrying your luggage upstairs.... more
