Stayed two nights for high school reunion. Shannon Heffron was fantastic at accommodating me. Had a room in the tower, very clean, spacious, and great bed with soft linens. Excellent view from a corner room so I could look out at the wonderful area I grew up in. Only caveat: On Saturday evening the shuttle bus driver was behind the... More

The rooms were all dirty, smelled of mildew, and were so old. I can only imagine how old the mattresses and pillows were. We were so disgusted at how un-clean the room was, we thought about leaving and driving the 1.5 hours home. The only reason why I'm giving this a 2 is because the hotel staff is very friendly... We booked Hotel Ithaca via Priceline and at first were very concerned about so many negative reviews on Trip Advisory that mentioned smelly, out-of-date rooms. We decided to call ahead to see if anything could be done to assure that we did not have that experience. The front desk informed us that we had received a complementary upgrade to a... More

My husband & I stayed here recently due to a wedding in the area. (This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. The first time (a couple years ago) we were not impressed & gave a mediocre at best review). We reluctantly chose this hotel again, but it was the only option in the area that did not require a... More

Our room at the Hotel Ithaca was dirty, dark, damp, and old. I will let the photos speak for themselves. I would not stay here again. When we got to our assigned room, the bed was hardly made, there was garbage in the trash cans from previous guests, and an open, used soap bar sitting on an uncleaned sink counter.... More

I booked a two bedroom suite for a one night stay in July 2015. We were in town to attend a friend's wedding. The bride called ahead in advance to make sure all of the wedding guests would be given the courtesy of an early check-in as we needed to arrive early and change to catch a shuttle bus to... More

I read the recent reviews and was worried since we had already booked a room online. I figured- based on the bargain price we paid- we would be in the older section there were complaints about. Well we were, but it was fine. The room on the second floor (279) was nice enough- think a Day's Inn or the like.... More

Our bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. Gross. The toilet and sink were dirty when we arrived. This led us to take a closer look at the rest of the room, which had clearly not been vacuumed. The bed was made and towels folded (as if it had been cleaned), but it clearly had not been- or at least not... More

While the location is still top notch, this was my first stay since the hotel changed management and was no longer a Holiday Inn property. I had only excellent rooms and stays when it was, so expected a positive experience. We were put in the older first floor rooms, they were very old, smelly, and loud. The room was equally... More

My daughter and I stayed here last week for a 5 day stay. Initally we were given a non renovated room. It smelled of mold and I could see mildew/mold growing on and near the air conditioning unit. Thankfully the front desk staff Dana, immediately worked to rectify the situation and moved us to a newer remodeled room on the... More
