I couldn't imagine what to expect after reading the reviews for this hotel. A real mix of good and bad. I stayed for one night now I get it. First, all Ithaca hotels are overpriced so on to the next subject. The room was fine. Clean and comfortable. It was the location that was a bit creepy. Around back next... More

I was on a business trip to Cornell and stayed in this hotel. The location is good but not the best, one should pick a hotel that is closest to Ithaca Commons (commercial area with several great restaurants), this one is about 3-4 blocks from it. The main problem is that the room is so out dated. The shower water... More

Location is good, close to everything. It does have free parking lot and free wireless in the room. However, the room is pretty outdated. I heard there's new renovation going on, but we were put in the old part of the hotel. It's a two story building and is not much better than a 2 star motel. The bedding is... More

I've stayed here twice now, and each time has been great- The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because of it's price- A little too expensive with $220 rooms, but the staff is great, helpful and inviting. Located right in the middle of town with 3 minute walks to bars, restaurants and shopping of the commons- no... More

With a name like The hotel Ithaca, I expected a venerable grande dame of a place like the Drake in Chicago. Instead, this wonderfully upgraded and modernized version of what was once a chain hotel, was bright, clean and airy. Light streams in through large windows and even the elevator runs along the outside of the building. Rooms are clean.... More

Hotel was nice! Clean and did the job. Pillows were small as a previous review had mentioned. Prices were steep at $200 a night but it was a holiday weekend. The staff was very helpful and the best part was parking. Located right in the back and it was easy and no hassle to park there

We had a wonderfully updated room in the Hotel Ithaca. It is an older hotel going through wonderful upgrades. The room was clean and the staff was magnificent. I can't say enough about the courteous and caring people that staff the hotel. They catered to our every need. One of the greatest joys was the restaurant in the hotel. It... More

We stayed in the tower of the Hotel Ithaca, which seems to have been recently remodeled, and we were beyond happy with our choice. The room was beautifully decorated and I loved the shower! The King size bed was comfortable and clean. Overall great experience! I would only suggest that the hotel give bottles of water in the fridges, but... More

We have been staying here at least once and twice a year for the past seven years while visiting our family living there. Initially a Holiday Inn, they have obviously decided to drop that badge. The very professional, courteous, caring staff make it easy to enjoy the property. The best rooms are in the tower where they have remodeled. The... More

This hotel, until very recently a Holiday Inn, has joined the ranks of the many mediocre and dated hotels in the Ithaca area. After a long, hot and tiring college move in day, we arrived on 8/22/14. Our SUV barely fit in the cramped downtown lot, however, the lobby was clean and upscale. My spirits were raised and I contemplated... More
