Came into Ithaca on a July 2015 Friday night with no hotel reservation to help daughter move into new apartment, and the Hilton Garden my daughter had recommended had no vacancies but recommended this downtown hotel right around the corner. The Hotel Ithaca room was on the 2nd floor of the tower building and was lovely, just recently updated with... More

Hotel staff was very friendly, but our room was dirty. Hair in the bathtub. Toothpaste on the wall mounted blow dryer, dusty furniture, grime on the doorknobs. Definitely the dirtiest hotel I have every stayed in. Was $350 for this pleasure as they jacked up the rates because it was move in weekend for both Cornell University and Ithaca College.... More

I can't complain too much, since this was the only hotel in or near Ithaca College that I could get for me, my wife, and my son who is starting college at Ithaca this year. I was lucky to get the room with only a couple of months advance notice, since 6,000 + Ithaca College Students and maybe 20,000 Cornell... More

We stay there twice this summer, chose one bed room and get put in the Tower. I like the newly renewed room with hard floor. the room is face to street but still very quiet. I love the shower head, but if they have a bathtub will be even better.

We checked in and checked out 15 min later . The room was dirty and the A/C was blowing hot air. The bed looked as if it was slept in. The chairs in the room were stained they offered us a different room but there was no way we were staying there. We checked into another hotel for our college... More

The rooms were nice but not cheap for a mid-week stay in August. The internet was non-existent. Location is good with just of few steps to the Commons which has many restaurants. If you're a waffle fan try Waffle Follie. You won't be disappointed.

We followed the advice from other reviews and booked a room in the executive tower and got a good rate with an advanced purchase from their website. The room, while a little tight on space, was quite nice. Everything was fresh and new, we really liked the hardwood floor. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is right... More

As other reviewers have noted, if you get the "complimentary upgrade" to the Tower rooms, you get a beautiful/new room. However, I did not. They gave me a room on the first floor. On the way there, I noticed, as other reviewers did, that the hallway smells bad. The room itself was facing busy traffic, and I knew I wouldn't... More

The last time I was in a hotel so bad that I refused to sit on the bed (let alone get in it) was in Barcelona in 1988, and I am sure that one was $20 a night not $225. We checked in tonight and had a very similar experience to Jessica below - the bed was clearly used (hairs,... More

Wanted to write a good review, but the internet and parking just couldn't make that possible. Hotel is nice, but only get the tower rooms. But the internet was just horrible the entire stay (and thats being nice). Spent over an hour trying to connect, that had to call the support desk (why couldn't the hotel have called) which cost...
