My friend and I stayed at the Inn on Columbia in a room in the main house with two twin beds, which was just perfect for us! I brought my small dog, and Madeline was wonderful and very accommodating. She had a bag of dog treats waiting in the room, and didn't mind when we left the dog at the... More

We were in The Red Room in Villa Madeline...around the corner from the main house. It's on the first floor at the front of the building. Aurora St. is the main road between downtown and Ithaca College, so there is a steady stream of cars during the day and evening. We were not awakened by the traffic, but certainly aware... More

We stayed 2 nights at Maison Mango, which is affordable when divided among 4 or 5 adults. Ample parking, and friendly owners. The fireplace worked well for a cool Ithaca night, and the house comes stocked with food in the refrigerator, snacks, and everything you need for coffee and a quick breakfast. The only thing lacking was the air conditioning... More

Many many years of staying at different residences with the Inn at Columbia (Hillview House, Villa Madeline, and more recently, Maison Mango), and always very pleasant experiences with Kenn and Madeline, except our last visit, in December 2013. Appreciative because we had arrived a few days earlier due to blinding snow conditions, we entered Mango Maison, and while very cute... More

This inn is as far from cookie-cutter as you can get. Tailored elegance and individual style without any frou-frou. We would have missed Tauhannock Falls, were it not for the excellent advice of our host.

Loved our overnight at Madeline House. Our room at front was noisy but very comfy. Loved the privacy, the boxed delicious breakfast as well as a seating area where I could go when awake at night due to my always present insomnia! This has become our go to place when visiting my son at college.

The place was gorgeous, almost as if it were ready for a magazine photo shoot, and it was immaculate. The breakfast, which was delivered in a bakery box to the house we were staying in, was delicious fresh baked goods and perfect fresh fruit. Why, you might ask, was the breakfast delivered from afar if you were staying in an... More

We booked on the same day and got the last minute rate. The owners were super friendly, the room was perfect and the breakfast was amazing! Spend 100 dollars for a mediocre night at the super 8 or spend 125 for a piece of heaven at the Inn on Columbia. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Inn several times in different locations. It has always been clean, comfortable and private. It is in a active student and family neighborhood close to the downtown restaurant scene. Some really delightful restaurants are just a few blocks away. The buildings that make up the Inn are innovative and have all the comforts llike fireplaces and... More

I stayed here one night for a short trip to Cornell. The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. The room we stayed in was very clean and the chef prepared breakfast that was included was delicious.
