I stayed here while my daughter and I toured Cornell. She spent the night in the dorm and I wanted to be close by to tour with her the next morning. It was a very positive and pleasant experience from the moment we pulled up to the front door. We were greeted by a smiling, helpful employee who was also... More

Full disclosure: I cherished my years at Cornell. I once invited dates ti the hotel bar, in this blissful but dangerous years when the drinking age age was 18,. It seemed the height of adult behavior, invite a date to the statler hotel, on campus, order martinis and then discuss you life plans with a new acquaintance. For me, staying... More

I had a sales meeting with the company I worked for and we stayed at this hotel. I was and am very impressed - great service, lovely rooms, good night sleep and meeting rooms right there - steps away. The grounds are gorgeous and I could inhale the tradition ...

The Statler is the "teaching" hotel of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, which means many hotel staff are actually Cornell students learning the trade. Even so, the students and the full-time staff are top drawer for tending to guests' needs and for courtesy. I was part of a group that stays at the Statler every year as part of... More

We booked the "Student Experience" package at the Statler as we wanted to give our daughter, a prospective Cornell Freshman, the full student experience. And the Statler did not disappoint. Indeed, the hotel and its student staff exceeded our expectations. If you are planning on visiting Cornell with a prospective student, we highly recommend the Statler and the Student Experience... This was my first time staying at Statler but always wanted to stay there when I was living in Ithaca. I was impressed with the hotel and the students who ran it. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back at Cornell. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk warned us about some construction but I... More

I traveled to Cornell University for graduate student recruiting weekend and the department had me stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms great, and the experience was overall excellent. I would recommend staying at this hotel if visiting Cornell University as it is centrally located on the campus and provides its guest with excellent amenities and polite... More

The Statler Hotel is convenient for visiting students on campus. You do have to valet your vehicle, but the valets are quick to retrieve it for you. The student workers are especially attentive to guests needs, as are the regular employees. Always a pleasant stay.

Statler is the nicest hotel in Ithaca. Because it's located in the campus; a safe place, a magnificent view, historical buildings, Johnson Museum of Art, McGrew Tower, Banffi food is great, a prefix jogging course(up & down-many hills on the campus:)

Nice, clean and updated hotel run by students at Cornell. Service is extremely friendly and helpful. Most views from rooms are of the beautiful campus. Very convenient location to stay for a sporting event. Just beware, restaurant closes on the early side, but you can get food at the bar.
